In tonight’s Big Brother episode, by a certain point, you just gotta give Taylor her due! Taylor hasn’t won much challenges. She wasn’t deemed a physical threat or even a social woman because the woman loves her pod. She rarely leaves now that her allies are gone yet there she was tonight. She was still hanging out.
It didn’t matter when she fought for others. It didn’t matter when she spoke up for herself. She stuck to who she’s always been and that alone was extremely commendable nowadays. It just didn’t change what everyone thought was going to happen.
There really wasn’t anyone that thought Taylor was going to survive to the final four. Only here she was. She beat out Melody. Melody got sent home and there was no exit interview. Odd!
Melody left and she didn’t get a chance to say goodbye or call out anyone. It didn’t seem fair to her. She should be allowed one final blow up that Drew survived longer than she did. She was targeted because everyone was coming after her showmance and according to Angela its not like the relationship was ever going to last after the show.
Melody was gone. Taylor made it to the final four. She like everyone else was one step away from the final three. They were a week away from winning the whole thing.
It was do or die time. Dee approached Taylor. The two of them talked about how Drew would take Devens and how they weren’t sure if Devens would take Drew. The one thing they knew for sure was that the two guys were really close. They have a father/son bond. Its one of the reasons Drew never directly worked against Devens’s interests.
He didn’t always protect him, but he didn’t side with others either. Even the situation with Yash was less about protecting Dee and more about getting out Yash. Yash was a better competitor than him.
Drew took his shot and he got him out. Yash wasn’t mad. Yash showing up at the jury house was the biggest surprise for everyone because they couldn’t believe it. They thought Melody would be the next person to show up. They never once thought it would be Yash. The many times that both Lala and Angela shaded Melody were the funniest thing ever.
They said that Melody putting Yash on the stand next to Dee was just silly. Also, Yash claiming he’d have voted out Dee if Drew had been nominated was a pure lie. He would’ve taken his shot at Drew.
The two were adversaries in the game. They’ve been targeting each other for weeks. Yash funnily said it wasn’t personal. He might still vote for Drew if he makes it to the final two. Drew has won HOH, BB Blockbusters, and Veto. Yash appreciates a comp beast as much as any other guy. He seemed to think that Taylor wasn’t much of a threat compared to Drew.
Well, time will show he’s wrong about that one. Devens couldn’t play in the next HOH comp. He had to leave it to his allies Dee and Drew. There was one problem with that. It was another puzzle.
Devens was great at them. Drew wasn’t bad at them. Dee had absolutely no basic instinct for them. Dee was eliminated in the first round. It came down to Drew or Taylor. Taylor then surprised everyone by winning her first HOH. Taylor has been a sleeping giant this whole time because now she’s on a winning streak.
Taylor completed the second puzzle before Drew could figure out his. She was racking up wins. The others were feeling jelly and Dee was feeling insecure. Dee was worried about going home.
She knew she might get nominated. Drew can beat her with Veto. Then again she could beat Devens if it wasn’t puzzles. Their game was no longer in their hands and Dee wanted to come up with a game plan if the worst proves true. Devens didn’t want to go there. Devens claimed that he had a good feeling. He said it always works out when he has a feeling like this one.
Devens wasn’t wrong to question his sheer luck. He’s managed to hold on for as long as possible. He thought it was safe when Taylor later nominated Drew and Dee for eviction. Drew knew he was going to get nominated. The amount of times he almost sent Taylor home with his mouth was legendary.
Drew was a great villain by the way because there hasn’t been a single soul he wasn’t willing to betray. Dee was forced into betraying her number one. Devens was playing everybody. Taylor never betrayed her chief ally.
The four found themselves playing a memory game about this past summer. They had to remember who said what on what day of the competition. They had to keep going until one person was left. Dee was out first.
She was too slow to recall certain events. Devens was out second. He was kicking himself for that one because it felt like Survivor 38 for him. He had helped someone he was close to get to the speeches and that same person knocked him out of the running. He didn’t want to repeat that same mistake with Dee. Its why he was playing his own game tonight.
Devens told Drew that he was willing to betray Dee. He said he didn’t want to repeat his past mistakes. Drew wasn’t sure if he could trust what Devens was saying so it made him try even harder to take himself off the block.
The man ended up winning Veto. Drew won Veto. He took himself off the block. It came down to either Devens or Dee with Drew picking the winner. Drew was close to Devens. Only Devens never once defended Drew as he did Dee. The two nominees were glad it ended this way because it made easier to advocate for themselves at the other’s expense.
Dee and Devens had a frank conversation about they were waiting to turn on the other. They were going to wait until they had to. They didn’t have to tonight. There was no way that two Survivor alumni were going to make it to the final two. They had to advocate for themselves. Dee was going to come for him. Devens was going to go after her nominating Drew. Drew was more leaning to ousting Devens because he hadn’t been sure if he could defeat him in a final two. Devens has built a credible record. He was the dad of the house. He was likeable.
Dee was likeable as well. Just not as much to split the votes like Devens. Drew was leaning towards keeping Dee when suddenly his mindset shifted. He later chose to save Devens. Dee was evicted tonight. Dee headed over towards the Jury house where she found Angela still beefing with Melody. Dee also had her exit interview in which she said she could feel how things were going to go in those last thirty minutes. She just knew she was leaving. It was fine because she also would’ve lacked the killer instinct to take out Devens at this stage.
The final three were now officially Taylor, Drew, and Devens!
The winner could truly be anyone.
