Dr. Wolf has left the psychiatric facility. He left with hope. He left with a dream of getting Josh back. He just couldn’t help chickening out of the last one. He was worried about returning to work and having to work alongside Josh if Josh didn’t return his feelings.

It’s’ why he wouldn’t just come out with how he felt. He was bottling it up. He took up baking. He started cooking. He was bringing in desserts. He was telling patient’s parents where he was while he was out on leave. He was trying to be a new person. And it was freaking everyone out.

Ericka didn’t want to call him when the test results for a baby came in. She said they’ve been handling Neuro without him. They’ve got this. It was Wolf’s first day back and she claimed she didn’t want to overwhelm him. It was actually Charlie whose first thought was to call Wolf.

The baby patient named Sage has a slower than normal heartbeat. Her parents were freaking out. They were listening to their mom group. Their minds were going to the darkest place possible so they needed Wolf to be there.

Only Wolf followed Carol to a hostage situation. There was a woman named Alyssa who took an entire bank hostage. She called for a doctor because she felt like she was going crazy. She was losing track of time. She saw big things as little and little things big.

Wolf came to believe she had a rare neurological condition called Todd Syndrome. It was also known as Alice in Wonderland condition. The author of that book might even had had it and that’s why he turned his pain/confusion into a bestseller.

Alyssa was experiencing everything from the book. Wolf had just figured out how to help her when a rouge security guard didn’t want to wait on a doctor’s findings. He reached for his gun and he shot Alyssa. She was rushed to the hospital. Wolf wanted her to remain a patient.

He pointed out that her “gun” was indeed fake. Alyssa didn’t rob the bank at gun point. She was never dangerous. It was the security guard who technically almost killed her. He might face charges because Alyssa was putting her fake gun down when he shot her.

Wolf wanted to treat Alyssa. Josh was dealing with the Police Commissioner on his phone. Josh also freaked out when he heard that Wolf went into an active hostage situation. He was worried about him. He tried taking Silva to task for not telling him where Wolf wait, but Silva said that’s not why he’s worried.

He’s worried because of what happened in the hyperbaric chamber. He was saying his final words because he suspected he was dying so he looked at his boyfriend and told him he loves him. And he called him by Wolf’s name.

Josh asked how could he do that. So, Silva told him that he loves him and he wasn’t saying that about the current boyfriend either. Wolf returning to the hospital also helped in a different way. He checked back in on Sage. He ran some tests and he determined that she was struggling with botulism.

She got baby milk formula. Both of her parents were giving it to her because mom wasn’t pumping enough. Dad didn’t want to wake his wife so he bought formula to feed the baby. They fed her what was supposed to be the best formula in the world. Yet, it gave their baby botulism.

They felt like the worst parents in the world. Ericka explained that the formula has been recalled in several mom groups. They did everything right.

They just couldn’t protect their daughter from everything. They were going to try a different formula from now on. They also were going take it easy on each other. Everyone was bound to make a mistake. Buying expensive formula that weren’t is an easy mistake to make.

And Wolf helped Alyssa’s wife to get the money she left behind. The family was going to be sent for a while.

And Wolf’s dinner party wasn’t so bad.

THE END!
