On Instagram, the Days Peacock account shared a great video featuring Brandon Butler, who portrayed a grown-up version of Zack Brady back in June 2025.
Zack is the son Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) lost tragically when he was just a boy, but he’s appeared as an adult in various forms and dream sequences.
Butler played Zack when Bo was in a coma and encouraged his dad to fight his way back to his loved ones.
It was a brief appearance, but it clearly made an impact since the show liked Butler enough to bring him back in a brand-new role.
Now Brandon Butler will be portraying a character named Mason Whitfield starting Tuesday, September 1.
The show posted a cute clip of Butler sharing some fun facts about himself to get fans hyped up about his imminent debut.
Days isn’t the only daytime drama that Butler has appeared on. Butler had a small part as a frat guy on an episode of General Hospital back in 2016.
