Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fall preview video reveals that some serious drama is on the way. DOOL recently released a promo that covers all the biggest shockers happening this autumn and offers a little glimpse of the Winter holidays in Salem as well.
The preview video begins with Dominic Marino (Kyle Pryor) meeting EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) for the first time.
As Dominic makes waves in Salem, it’ll also leave Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) concerned about the threat to the Kiriakis family.
Unfortunately, Xander will soon have bigger problems to worry about based on Leo Stark’s (Greg Rikaart) warning about the Chicago PD coming to arrest Xander for first-degree murder!
It looks like Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will insist on packing up Victoria Kiriakis (Angelica Nero) and going on the run with Xander, at least until they can find a way out of his legal jam.
Of course, there’ll be more DiMera mayhem too, especially with Dominic around to shake things up.
Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) will predict that it won’t be long until somebody draws blood.
Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) won’t like all this DiMera danger and destruction, so she’ll announce to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) that she wants them out of Salem.
That’ll lead to Chanel and Johnny relocating to Italy with the kids for November sweeps.
As for Sydney DiMera (Sydney Malakeh), it seems she’ll land in the CEO seat and flex her power.
Sydney will stand up to EJ, so there’ll be some growing tension between this father and his daughter.
At some point, Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord) will come through with evidence for Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) despite the fact that she’s not a trained undercover agent.
Days spoilers say EJ will eventually catch on and confront Cat about playing him from the start. Cat will claim she truly loves EJ, but will he believe her?
DOOL’s fall promo also features some explosive conflict between Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) and Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins).
The feud will back Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) into a corner since he’ll have to choose whether to believe his wife or the mother of his child.
Alex might have another baby coming soon if Stephanie ends up pregnant.
Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) can be seen promising to keep Stephanie’s secret in the preview video, so that may be about a potential bun in the oven.
Back with Dominic, Days spoilers say he’ll share some emotional moments with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
For the first time in Dominic’s life, he’ll claim he feels like he’s where he belongs.
Marlena will enjoy getting to know Dominic and forming a mother-son bond, but can he really be trusted?
There’ll be many other characters worried about Marlena and the possibility that she’s falling under Dominic’s spell.
Over with Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews), he’ll question Dominic about Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) agenda, but Dominic will make it clear that he’s going to make his own choices about what happens next.
Love will also be in the air for Sydney and Mason Whitfield (Brandon Butler), who’ll wind up falling for Sydney pretty hard.
There’ll also be a wonderful reconnection for Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) since he’ll ask her to move back in.
However, Theo will find Abe’s pill bottle during the holiday season, so that’ll lead to Abe making a big confession to his family about the illness he’s secretly struggling with.
Poor Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) will be down in the dumps over everyone she loves leaving her, but Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will do his best to lift her spirits.
Brady has a big reunion coming up since the new preview video shows him reconnecting with Chloe Lane, who’s now being played by Sofia Mattsson.
Although Nadia Bjorlin will be a tough act to follow, Mattsson is an excellent actress who certainly seems to have on-screen chemistry with Martsolf based on Chloe and Brady’s promo kiss!
Some other preview video curveballs include a moment where Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) tries to save dying Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) after things take a disturbing turn and the return of Orpheus (George DelHoyo).
After Marlena and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) show up for a prison visit in the promo, Orpheus admits he’s been expecting them and hints that the truth is beyond their wildest dreams.
