Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers and updates for the week of July 20-24 imply that Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) and Belle Black (Martha Madison) will be Italy-bound, while Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) is confronted, and EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) is accused.
Salem will be a flurry of drama next week, so let’s unpack everything that is about to go down!
First off, Chad and Belle will uncover a clue based on the paper they found in their program from last week’s concert.
The twosome will realize the intel points to Italy, so will there be a trip to Europe in their near future?
In other Chad and Belle news, Chad will offer support to Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) as he deals with problems in his marriage.
Alternatively, fans will see Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) vent to Belle as she gets a woman’s perspective on things.
Meanwhile, Holly is confronted by both Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and Tate Black (Leo Howard).
While searching for a hair tie (upon Holly’s request), Tate found pills in Holly’s carry-on during the Friday, July 17 episode.
The two will undeniably believe that Holly is using again, even though the young girl will continue to deny it.
Of course, EJ planted the pills to set Holly up and deflect DiMera Pharmaceutical’s cover-up of arsenic-contaminated Coriseal.
Still, as the weekend hits, Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will hear about Tate finding pills in Holly’s bag and accuse his dad of setting his former stepsister up.
EJ will have a ton on his plate during the week of July 20.
Days of Our Lives spoilers note that he’ll issue an apology to Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord).
This is likely linked to him losing the hospital, so he may have to let Cat go from her administrative assistant duties.
With that said, it looks like she’ll score another job at the hospital, as Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will present Cat with another opportunity.
As the days go by (pun intended), EJ will share his concerns with Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney); however, is this about the hospital or his plan to make Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) disappear?
Speaking of, Kristen will present Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) with an escape plan.
Will the DiMera sisters decide to head out of town together?
After all, Kristen doesn’t want to face EJ’s wrath, and as Lexie knows the near is coming for her, she wants to spare Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) the pain of seeing her passing away, again.
As the week progresses, Lexie and Abe will have a vow renewal, which should prove to be an emotional affair.
Over at Bayview, Kristen will have a tearful encounter with Rachel Black (Lorelei Olivia Mote) as she says her goodbyes and preps to leave Salem … for good (or just for now).
Across town, Gabi Hernandez (Cherie Jimenez) will rescind her offer to bail out Titan, much to the shock of both Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Philip Kiriakis (John-Paul Lavoisier).
Still, she’ll also partner up with Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) as they’ll soon notice that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has gone missing.
Even Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will drop her hat in the ring to assist, as it’ll be all hands on deck to find poor Gwenevere!
In other news, the Grants will celebrate their anniversary, so fans should expect to see some steamy moments between Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers).
Speaking of steam, Shawn-Douglas Brady (Brandon Beemer) will tell Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) exactly how he feels, so they’ll also sizzle on screen this week as well.
Back to Sarah, Days spoilers for the week of July 20 note that she’ll turn to Xander for help, so will this have to do with Holly?
In fact, the former couple will share a moment of peace, so will they bond in the process, too?
