Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Friday, August 14, reveal that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will carry out a shocking scheme that’ll pave the way for Devlin St. John’s (John Oliver) soapy exit.
Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) and Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) will also find something heartbreaking, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on DOOL.
Now that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has blabbed to Theo about Lexie Carver’s (Nikki Crawford) miracle drug failing, he’s struggling to cope.
Marlena also urged Theo to search the DiMera mansion for Lexie, so he intends to go on the hunt in the tunnels.
Theo still has EJ’s access code from the last time he was down there, but he’ll run into trouble when Rita Lesley (Maggie Carney) pops up.
Rita is extremely loyal to EJ, who’s no doubt given her strict orders not to let anyone down in Lexie’s room.
Days spoilers say Theo won’t care about EJ’s wishes or even Lexie’s for that matter.
All Theo will want is a chance to comfort his mom in her time of need and be with Lexie as she faces a truly grim fate.
That’s why Theo will stand up to Rita and warn that she’s not going to stop his mission.
Chad will ultimately join Theo as they head down to the DiMera tunnels, where they’ll indeed find dying Lexie.
As for Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers), she’ll console Abe Carver (James Reynolds) once he gets all the latest Lexie info.
It won’t be long until Abe heads down to the DiMera tunnels to support Lexie, too.
Meanwhile, Days spoilers say Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will feel guilty over all the secrets he’s keeping, especially the ones he’s hiding from Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens).
Speaking of Chanel, she’ll deal with some labor pains and realize she needs to get to the hospital since the baby’s coming!
Other Days spoilers say some disturbing news will strike for Cat Greene (AnnaLynne McCord), so she may realize EJ is missing and worry about what he’s up to this time.
EJ has been sick in his room, so Cat may assume trouble is brewing once he vanishes.
It looks like EJ will gather his strength to make sure Devlin is no longer a threat.
EJ wants to silence Devlin permanently and get rid of his blackmail problem, so he’ll be willing to go pretty far to achieve that.
Is a DiMera island trip in the chief water inspector’s future or perhaps an amnesia serum?
John Oliver wanted the soapiest role possible, so we have no doubt that the show will deliver something wild for Devlin’s exit.
