Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, August 17, reveal that a couple of Salemites will face some urgent medical drama.
Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will also deliver a crushing blow to one family, so let’s talk about the devastation to come.
Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) are livid over EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) hiding Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) in the DiMera tunnels instead of getting her treatment, so Lexie will be rushed to the hospital.
Sadly, both EJ and Lexie already know there’s no hope.
Lexie is dying and there’s nothing they can do about it, so that’s exactly what Kayla will tell Abe and Theo once Lexie becomes her patient.
Days spoilers say Theo and Abe will find out that Lexie doesn’t have much time left, so they’ll have to figure out a way to say goodbye.
It’ll be even harder to bid farewell to Lexie knowing her demise is going to be permanent – at least as permanent as death can be in Salem!
No one can rule anything out in the future, but Lexie is indeed a goner for now.
As for Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens), DOOL spoilers say she’ll be hospitalized as well since she’s going into labor.
Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will try to keep Chanel calm and coach her through the pain that’s only going to get worse from here.
Other Days spoilers indicate Javi Hernandez (Jacob Martinez) will be horrified to learn Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) is still stuck in Alamainia with Dimitri von Leuschner (Peter Porte).
Once Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) explains how it all went down, Javi is sure to lash out over Leo being abandoned and trapped with unhinged Dimitri.
Next, Days spoilers say Rafe will put pressure on Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) since he wants her help to put EJ behind bars.
Gwen could score full immunity for all her crimes, but she has to work with Rafe on EJ’s downfall.
Of course, Gwen may worry that EJ will wiggle out of the charges as usual and unleash his wrath on her.
EJ has proven he knows how to make his enemies disappear, so that should be a concern for Gwen.
