Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the show seemingly put one baby-related storyline on hold, but could it finally be time for it to move forward?

Back in November 2025, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) talked about their desire to have another baby.
Eli and Lani were just visiting Salem at the time, but they made a point to mention their hope of giving their twins a sibling.
However, that potential pregnancy storyline was seemingly dropped or at least delayed.
That was probably the right decision considering Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) already has a pregnancy story of her own underway.
Of course, Chanel and Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) little one will be here before you know it.
Although Chanel has a traumatic delivery ahead of her, many Days fans are hoping her baby survives and ultimately thrives.
Once Johnny and Chanel’s newborn comes into the world, maybe Days will finally let Lani and Eli get back to their own baby-making mission.
Now that Eli and Lani have officially moved back to Salem, the timing may be right.
It’s even possible that Lani and Eli just conceived a child during their recent hotel romp.
Eli and Lani had a belated anniversary celebration at the Salem Inn, which led to some time between the sheets.
There’s a chance that Lani just got pregnant and that she might make that discovery soon enough.
Regardless, Lani and Eli’s marriage is as solid as ever, so Days may eventually pick up their baby story again and let them expand their family.
