Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Wednesday, September 9, reveal that things will take a scary turn for Joy Wesley (AlexAnn Hopkins), so she’ll seek Alex Kiriakis’ (Robert Scott Wilson) comfort.
As for Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), they’ll struggle with their emotions as they reflect what could’ve been a happier outcome.
Sarah and Xander have both accepted their split at this point, but Days viewers know it’s still painful.
Since Xander and Sarah share a child, they’re always going to be connected and in each other’s lives.
That means there’s always going to be something to remind Sarah and Xander of the united family they used to be with Victoria Kiriakis (Angelica Nero).
Xander and Sarah were once madly in love in addition to being Victoria’s parents, so they really had it all.
Now Sarah and Xander have moved on, but they’ll still think about what might’ve happened if they’d been able to make it work.

Brady will also have a meeting with Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) on Wednesday’s show, so they’ll discuss the latest details of the Coriseal investigation and work on taking EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) down.
Other Days spoilers say Joy will deal with some alarming news at the hospital.
Since Joy’s condition will take a distressing turn, she’ll fly into panic mode and need Alex’s support.
Alex obviously isn’t happy about the custody agreement that was just amended to keep Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) 10 feet away from the baby for at least a year, but he’s not heartless.
When Alex sees Joy looking so scared and vulnerable, he’ll definitely comfort her.
Despite how discouraged Stephanie is feeling right now, Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) won’t let her daughter surrender when it comes to her marriage.
Kayla will push Stephanie to hang in there and keep fighting for her future with Alex.
The situation with Joy and Kelsey Kiriakis (Lena and Mira Chase) may be complicated right now, but Kayla will be optimistic about things working out down the road.
