Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of April 27-May 1 indicate that some excitement is ahead in Salem, so let’s discuss the shockers and shakeups that are still to come.
Following Joy Wesley’s (AlexAnn Hopkins) return, it looks like she’ll shock Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) by revealing that he’s a dad.
Joy was secretly pregnant with Alex’s child when she left town, so now she presumably wants to break the news.
Since Stephanie Kiriakis (Abigail Klein) has been so uncertain about the idea of motherhood lately, Joy’s DOOL comeback is sure to throw her for a loop.
Stephanie is still trying to heal from the trauma of her abduction, so having a baby around is the last thing she needs right now.
This will no doubt put even more of a strain on Alex and Stephanie’s marriage, so Joy may take full advantage of that if she wants Alex for herself.
Other Days spoilers say Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) will reading is still looming, but it might get delayed a bit longer due to some other family drama.
Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) has roped Sophia Choi (Rachel Boyd) into a scheme that involves killing Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), who’s supposed to be working from home in his apartment in the coming episodes.
Of course, Sophia is nervous about this fatal plan and feels like Kristen is rushing things.
Since Sophia obviously isn’t truly prepared for this grim step, Days spoilers say she’ll botch the plot.
There’s a chance Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) will come home sooner than expected from her aquarium outing or something along those lines.
Could Chanel land in harm’s way along with or maybe instead of Johnny?
Regardless, Sophia is working on a different plan of her own.
That just might involve faking her demise and pinning it on Holly Jonas (Ashley Puzemis) based on how Sophia’s been talking.
Sophia may feel the need to rush that second plan along if she fears Kristen’s wrath over this failed plot.
Johnny will survive whatever’s in store, so Kristen could punish Sophia for ruining the mission – especially if Chanel gets hurt thanks to Sophia’s mistakes.
Now that Days writers are playing up Kristen and Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) friendship again, we’re seeing the calm before the storm.
Lani would never approve of Kristen making Chanel’s husband a fatal target.
If Chanel winds up at risk along with her baby because of this Johnny scheme, then that’ll give Lani more reasons to be furious.
Kristen will do everything in her power to keep her criminal activities under wraps, but Lani and EJ will inevitably find out what she’s been up to sooner or later.
In the meantime, there may be more signs that Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford) is waking up now that she’s moved her hand.
Theo Carver (Tyler Joseph Andrews) will hold out hope that he’ll be able to talk to Lexie soon, but she has to open her eyes first!
Finally, Chad DiMera (Conner Floyd) will continue to settle back in Salem and may notice Cat Greene’s (AnnaLynne McCord) bond with EJ has grown stronger.
If Chad picks up on any romantic vibes or even witnesses a kiss, he may try to warn Cat away from his devious brother.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say EJ and Cat’s entanglement will bring some jealousy for Chad eventually, so stay tuned.
