Days of Our Lives (DOOL) update for the week of June 1-5 indicates that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will struggle with her emotions and find herself leaning on Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) as a result.
Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will also have a proposal for Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) to consider – one that’ll involve a major betrayal of EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel).
First, let’s discuss Chanel Dupree DiMera (Raven Bowens) since she’ll get agitated during an appointment regarding her breast cancer treatment.
Days spoilers say Chanel will want some honesty when it comes to how the choices she’s facing could affect her baby.
In the end, it appears Chanel may decide that the risks are just too great.
Chanel may refuse treatment while she’s pregnant for the sake of keeping her child alive and healthy, but Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) won’t agree it’s the right call.
Over with Lexie Carver (Nikki Crawford), Days spoilers say she’ll want to know that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) is all in on their reunion.
Abe is still longing for Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) in many ways, but he also loves Lexie and will agree they should focus on their new beginning.
However, that new beginning will soon be in jeopardy since EJ’s back-from-the-dead experiment will suddenly take a nosedive.
Dr. Wilhelm Rolf (Richard Wharton) will realize one of the lab rats that was revived is deceased again.
It may not be long until the other lab rats follow that same pattern, so EJ may fear Lexie’s time could be running out once more.
Gwen will presumably get the scoop on all this – and she knows all the other shady stuff EJ’s done up to now as well.
Since Gwen has plenty of EJ dirt, she’ll apparently pitch the idea of Leo writing an exposé on him and this disastrous project.
EJ proved he was a backstabber by changing the financial terms of their agreement, so Gwen will decide it’s time for a little revenge.
Days spoilers suggest Gwen’s only condition for giving Leo this scoop of the century will be to keep her name out of the story completely.
As for Sarah and Xander, they’ll team up to rush to the aid of a woman named Destiny (Sarah Bartholomew) after she falls unconscious.
Destiny will become Sarah’s newest patient, but she may not survive since devastation is coming up for the doc.
Some tainted drugs are going to land at the center of a big DOOL storyline this summer, so it’s possible that’ll tie in with Destiny’s sad outcome.
Whatever the case, Sarah will be feeling heartbroken and vulnerable after Destiny’s ordeal.
It’ll lead to Sarah leaning on Xander and struggling with some lip lock temptation.
