General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Brennan (Chris McKenna) will have a major confrontation with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) as he learns that his most hated enemy is also the man who has been bedding his gal pal, Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
The General Hospital preview for the week of May 4-8 shows an explosive encounter between Jack and Carly that may set up this shocking reveal.
During the Friday, May 1 episode, Brennan went to confront Carly on his suspicions that she was cheating on him.
Josslyn Jack (Eden McCoy) had planted a seed that her mom wasn’t being faithful the day before, and upon some reflection on Brennan’s part, the WSB head realized there could be some substance to this accusation.
Jack went to Carly’s house and found her in bed, without any clothes on, glowing in the aftermath of a steamy session with Valentin.
He essentially “caught her in the act”; however, there was no man beside her. Jack knew that these cheating allegations were true, but had no idea who Carly was cheating on him with.
Fast forward to this week, and Brennan is slated to have a major meltdown.
In the General Hospital preview, Brennan angrily asks Carly how long this has been going on and who she’s cheating on him with.
Carly, who looks very smug considering she got caught, simply tells the WSB agent to “turn around’.
The video then comes to a close, so fans can only assume how ugly things will get when Brennan comes face-to-face with his largest foe.
To make matters messier, Valentin has been a fugitive from the WSB for months now, and Brennan has been in charge of finding him.
Learning that Valentin is Carly’s new lover will undoubtedly add salt to the wound of her betrayal and sting that much more.
Still, is there more to Carly and Valentin’s plan than simply shocking Brennan and making him feel like a piece of trash for trusting the blonde?
If Valentin reveals himself to Brennan, they must have a plan to ambush him.
After all, even if Valentin shocks Brennan and then takes off, there’s still the stickiness of Carly’s treason and the legal WSB ramifications that come with that.
Carly and Valentin know that the WSB doesn’t care about evidence or human rights, so even if Valentin escapes Brennan’s clutches, Carly would have to deal with the aftermath of his wrath, and things could get ugly for her, all things considered.
Are they planning on holding Brennan hostage until they can gather enough information to throw him under the bus and clear Valentin’s name so that he can be free?
