General Hospital Friday, April 10 Recap: Jordan's Paralysis, Sidwell Accuses Sonny of Crash, Nina Threatens Brennan

General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, April 10, reveals that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had concerns about Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) condition while Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) stuck to his suspect.

Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) also made a shocking move against Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), so here’s how Friday’s episode played out.

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, Brennan had to rush off after their night together, but he was grateful to Carly for giving him a second chance.

The search for Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) came up, so Carly questioned why it was still so important to find him after all these months.

Since the escape happened on Brennan’s watch, that was part of his desire to catch Valentin ASAP.

However, Valentin also had intel regarding Sidwell and Cesar Faison (Anders Hove), so Brennan remained eager to track him down.

Once Brennan was gone, Valentin popped up and called Carly out for going soft on Brennan.

Carly argued that she had to play the part and acknowledged that she felt a bit guilty for using Jack.

Valentin worried Carly would double-cross him and forgive Brennan, but Carly maintained that she could never forgive Brennan for turning Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) into a killer.

Valentin admitted he was jealous and eventually decided it was a mistake to make their relationship personal.

Carly insisted that’s what she already told Valentin, so he said they’d be strictly professional from now on and stormed upstairs.

After Carly yelled for Valentin to stay in the attic, she flashed back to their bedroom encounter and heard him slam the attic door.

At Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) house, Nina was tense and insisted on Willow taking Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) in the other room so he wouldn’t hear anything.

During her private conversation with Willow, Nina worried that if Brennan got Valentin intel from the other source he mentioned, he’d release the traffic cam footage out of spite.

Willow feared losing her political career and shared custody of the kids if the traffic cam resurfaced to make her look guilty.

Although Nina wanted to protect Willow, she hated the idea of betraying Charlotte’s trust if she spilled anything.

Charlotte would figure it out and blame herself for trusting Nina if Valentin got captured.

Since Brennan was using Nina’s love against her, Willow suggested Nina could do the same.

Nina realized she could use Carly against Brennan and summoned him for a discussion soon after.

At Haven, Brennan assumed Nina had Valentin-related news for him, but she insisted she wouldn’t be supplying any information.

Instead, Nina predicted Brennan would get rid of the traffic cam footage for good.

According to Nina, Carly wouldn’t forgive Brennan for sitting on info that could’ve helped Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).

Back with Willow, she gave Drew another paralytic dose and refused to lose her kids again.

Since Brennan was forcing Nina to choose between her daughter and former stepdaughter, Willow knew her mom was in an awful position.

However, Willow ultimately seemed to have an idea about how to make the situation easier for Nina.

At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place, he wanted Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) to give Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) a heads-up on Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) coming to him and wanting to work outside the law.

Ric felt that Sonny needed to be prepared in case Sidwell retaliated over Marco, but Sonny hoped Sidwell would realize he wasn’t responsible after his initial grief passed.

Plus, Sonny knew Sidwell wouldn’t be able to use Laura Collins (Genie Francis) anymore if he crossed the line.

Laura would point the cops in Sidwell’s direction if anything happened to Sonny.

That said, Sonny was taking protective measures for his family, including Ric since he didn’t want to lose his brother.

At GH, Laura checked on Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and learned Jordan pulled through her surgery.

Curtis worried Jordan might be paralyzed since he had to move her from the wreckage, but Laura argued that he saved her from what would’ve been a fatal explosion.

Laura marveled over Curtis getting Jordan out of the car on his own, so he flashed back to Valentin helping him and stayed tight-lipped about it.

Once Sidwell arrived, Laura tried to shoo him away.

Sidwell insisted he was there because he cared about Jordan as his COO and his friend.

Since Laura didn’t want Sidwell bothering Curtis with questions, Sidwell sought answers from a nearby ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) instead.

Sidwell pushed Justine to see there could be a connection between what happened to Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) and Jordan since they both worked for him.

Sidwell speculated that Sonny found out Jordan was digging into Marco’s case for him and went after her, too.

Justine downplayed Jordan’s accident as a one-car crash and suggested that rushing on Marco’s case could let the real killer get away with it.

While Justine called Sonny and pushed for a meeting, Laura quizzed Curtis about whether Jordan’s link to Sidwell could’ve been a crash factor.

Curtis felt it was an accident due to Jordan taking her eyes off the road, but he was still upset over the other driver not stopping and how long it took for the ambulance to get there.

At Alexis’ house, Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) insisted it wasn’t necessary for Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) to carry her around during her surgery recovery, but he got her to admit it was fun.

After a galley for Molly’s new book was delivered, she offered to change anything that made Cody uncomfortable.

There was some talk about how Molly used writing her novel and the character of Casey to work through her feelings for Cody.

General Hospital spoilers say Molly and Cody could have a bright future together if this keeps up, so stay tuned.
