General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, April 17, reveals that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) came clean to someone about the other man in her life while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) sought Nina Reeves’ (Cynthia Watros) help setting up Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
Here’s how all Friday’s GH action played out.
On Pier 55, Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) left a mysterious message for someone before Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) had a stunning encounter with her half-brother.
Ethan claimed he wanted to see Lulu in person following her coma awakening and hinted about his open-ended stay in Port Charles, so she insisted on him staying with her.
However, Ethan had another stop to make before he made his way to Lulu’s house, so he said he’d meet up with her there later.
Once Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) woke up on Laura Collins’ (Genie Francis) sofa, they talked about a possible Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) takedown plan.
Laura sensed there was some urgency when it came to this new helicopter flight path that Sidwell had pushed for.
Since Laura was approving it, she suggested Ezra could find out the real reason behind it.
From there, Laura was hopeful about getting various agencies involved in Sidwell’s downfall.
When Nina returned home, she lashed out after finding Valentin in her living room.
Nina quickly realized that Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) had figured out she was after Valentin’s location, so she came clean about Brennan backing her into a corner by threatening Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen).
Valentin assumed it was something like that and blamed Brennan instead of Nina, so she was relieved to know he wasn’t angry with her.
After Valentin suggested Nina had to give Brennan exactly what he wanted, she pushed her to feed Brennan info on him – but only the info that Valentin wanted Brennan to have.
Nina had no problem with Valentin setting Brennan up, but she was concerned about Jack retaliating against Willow if he found out she was double-crossing him.
Valentin insisted he wouldn’t force this alliance, but he was Nina’s best chance to take Brennan down.
At Carly’s house, she enjoyed a night in with Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) as they cooked dinner together.
Lucas opened a box that had been shipped there with a man’s razor inside, so Carly tried to act like it was for Brennan at first.
Lucas could tell Carly was acting weird, so she finally admitted the news that she was involved with another man.
However, Carly insisted it was complicated and that once the circumstances that brought them together were over, their relationship would be, too.
Lucas didn’t get why Carly was still with Brennan, but she kept things vague when it came to her breakup delay.
That said, Lucas could tell this other guy was special to Carly based on the way she talked about him.
Carly also tried to convince Lucas to move out of Wyndemere, but he stuck to his plan to stay there for now.
At Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) place, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) dropped by with Donna Corinthos’ (Scarlett Spears) forgotten backpack and caught up with Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) while she was on babysitting duty.
That led to some talk about Charlie’s Pub and the grand reopening, so Kristina read some positive comments online about Jacinda Bracken’s (Paige Herschell) performance.
Someone posted about Jacinda dating a “homicidal maniac,” so Kristina was upset over the public perception that Michael was guilty of shooting Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).
Michael didn’t have proof that Willow was guilty, but he intended to get some and regain the upper hand when it came to their custody feud.
For now, Michael just had to be civil and make Willow believe things were good between them.
Kristina advised against putting the kids through more custody drama, but she supported the idea of Michael clearing his name.
Once Michael took off, someone else showed up at the door.
Kristina was shocked when she opened it to find Ethan, who said this must be his lucky day.
At Bad Jen Café, Willow bought Wiley Corinthos (Viron Weaver) a treat since he did well on his spider project for school. Jacinda arrived to get coffee, so Wiley hugged her and gushed over her being a spider expert.
Willow was bothered by Jacinda and Wiley’s bond, so she confronted Jacinda at Crimson after dropping Wiley off at a sleepover.
That led to Willow insisting Jacinda was just using Wiley to get closer to Michael, who was her latest meal ticket.
Willow refused to let Jacinda spend any more time around her children, but Jacinda insisted that wasn’t up to her.
Since Jacinda was in a relationship with Michael, that meant she’d be in the kids’ lives, too.
Willow threw Jacinda’s past profession in her face, but Jacinda accused her of shooting Drew as they argued.
Jacinda made it clear that Willow cheated on Michael and blew up her life, so she felt Willow had no one but herself to blame for that.
As Willow stood her ground, she insisted this situation had gone on long enough.
“If you so much as try getting near my kids, there will be hell to pay!” Willow snapped before realizing Michael had arrived to overhear her.
General Hospital spoilers say Michael will get in the middle of this Willow and Jacinda conflict soon, so don’t miss what’s in store.
