General Hospital Friday, June 26 Recap: Britt’s Arrest Saves Her Life, Danny Stops Kidnapping

General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, June 26, reveals that Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) faced a twist she didn’t see coming while Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) took the first step in exposing Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey).

At the pool, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) tried to keep the focus on Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creighton), but it was impossible when Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) was arguing with Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) nearby.

Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) defended Willow since he didn’t think she fled from Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) accident and tried to point the finger at Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) instead.

Isaiah arrived and realized there was someone else under suspicion, so that led to him clashing with Curtis again.

Willow ultimately decided to go with Joe to the police station to clear up the misunderstanding.

Chase eventually approached Curtis and got the scoop on what was going on with Willow, so he told Brook Lynn and headed down to the PCPD as well.

In the interrogation room, Willow accused ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) of trying to pin this on her because she failed to take her down for attempted murder.

However, ADA Turner pointed out they had two witness statements – one from Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and one from Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison).

Those statements put Willow on Route 91 the night of Jordan’s crash, but Willow denied being there.

Once Chase appeared, he speculated with Willow on the Drew situation and guessed he must’ve responded to Joe’s yes or no question in a way that incriminated Willow.

Willow acted like Joe must’ve misunderstood.

At Crimson, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) gave Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) attitude for choosing Willow over her, but Nina tried to explain that it wasn’t like that.

Nina got a phone call from Willow about her latest police drama and had to rush off to help her, so it seemed like she was proving Charlotte right.

Danny Morgan (Asher Antonzyn) showed up and filled Charlotte in on all the chaos he caused at the WSB field office, so they got into another fight that sent Danny stomping off.

However, Danny returned after he watched shady WSB agent get off the elevator and head into the office.

Charlotte panicked as the agent attempted to kidnap her, but Danny whacked the guy over the head with something to knock him out and raced off with Charlotte.

Back at the PCPD, Curtis told Nina that Isaiah was to blame for leaving the scene of Jordan’s crash.

Chase also suggested Willow could leave since she wasn’t being charged with anything.

ADA Turner stopped Willow once the trip log from her black BMW revealed she was on Route 91 within seconds of Jordan’s accident.

In Tortola, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) stood his ground on wanting to take Britt with them when he left with Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).

Britt convinced Rocco that it was too dangerous, so he relented on going alone with Dante and Lulu – though he made Britt promise to take her meds and stay on the move.

Dante made a cryptic phone call and dismissed Rocco’s questions about it soon after.

Once Rocco and Britt said their goodbyes, she prepared to inject herself with a dose of what she assumed was her medication.

Of course, GH fans will recall that Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) offered up those vials as bait for Cassius, so Britt almost injected herself with poison.

Fortunately, Britt didn’t get the chance since a couple of police officers burst in to arrest her for kidnapping.

At Anna’s facility, she caught up with Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner), Mac Scorpio (John J. York) and Emma Scorpio (Braedyn Bruner), so they were all happy to see the progress she’d made.

In private, Anna’s doctor told Felicia she wasn’t comfortable releasing Anna since there was the risk of relapse and more work to be done.

Felicia eventually spoke with Anna alone and was stunned when Anna delivered some shocking news.

Anna needed to trust Felicia with some information and revealed that “Nathan West” wasn’t who he said he was.

Back in Port Charles, ADA Turner pushed “Nathan” to take the lead on finding Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).

Jordan and Laura Collins (Genie Francis) called “Nathan” over to tell him about the possible hideout they’d found for Sidwell, so he warned them not to share the intel with anyone else.

Cassius eventually called someone – presumably Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) – to alert him to a Sidwell problem.

General Hospital spoilers say Cassius has some problems of his own coming up thanks to Anna, so stay tuned.
