General Hospital (GH) recap for Friday, May 29, reveals that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) got serious about protecting her marriage while Ethan Lovett’s (Nathan Dean) link to Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone) was exposed through a picture of them together.
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) place, she got into another argument with Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) about Anna Devane (Finola Hughes), so Valentin said he’d move out of the attic after shutting down the project at Wyndemere.
Once Valentin stomped upstairs, Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) showed up at the door blaming herself for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) running with Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).
Carly didn’t think Charlotte was to blame and acknowledged that she didn’t think Britt would do anything to hurt Rocco.
If Charlotte wanted to help Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening), Carly felt she could do so by staying out of trouble.
Valentin popped up and agreed with Carly, so they shared a tender moment once Charlotte was gone.
After Carly and Valentin traded apologies, Carly said she shouldn’t have put expectations on their “situationship.”
Valentin took Carly’s hand and hinted that maybe he wanted her to put expectations on it.
Valentin couldn’t predict where things were headed, but he acknowledged his feelings for Carly and his desire to have her by his side.
Carly clearly felt the same way and fell into a passionate kiss with Valentin.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Brook Lynn wrapped a gift to thank Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) for her Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creigton) adoption help.
Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) subtly fished for info about Brook Lynn’s car repair and quizzed her about Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) showcase since she didn’t even make it for Trina and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) performance that night.
Brook Lynn tried to dodge Michael’s questions and took off before Michael summoned Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) over the phone.
Michael explained that he suspected Brook Lynn was the other driver who nearly collided with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Since Michael assumed Brook Lynn was keeping this a secret from Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), he thought this news could blow up her marriage and leave him turning to Willow.
If Willow cheated on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) with the cop ex-husband who helped her avoid a murder conviction, Michael predicted her disastrous scandal.
Over with Willow, she confessed to Chase that she didn’t love Drew and wished she’d listened to the people who told her not to marry him.
Willow also felt guilty for cheating on Chase with Michael once upon a time, but Chase acknowledged that it was a complicated situation.
Besides, it all worked out for Chase since the ordeal eventually led him to Brook Lynn and Phoebe.
As for Willow, Chase gave her a pep talk about hanging in there until Drew recovered when she could end the marriage.
Brook Lynn arrived to find Willow and Chase in a warm embrace, so she looked uneasy as she gazed at them through the window.
Once Brook Lynn went to the door, she put on a nice act as Willow let her inside.
Chase mentioned that he came over to return Amelia Corinthos’ (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) stuffed animal.
Willow opened the present Brook Lynn brought over and acknowledged that she was happy to help with the Phoebe situation.
After Chase headed to the PCPD, Brook Lynn turned her attention to Willow and ultimately delivered a fierce threat.
“I am very grateful for everything that you’re doing for us, Willow. But if you so much as breathe on my husband again, it will be the last breath you take. I will destroy you,” Brook Lynn warned before storming out.
In Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) office, he argued with Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and suggested Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) only had himself to blame for Derrick’s dilemma.
Curtis didn’t want Isaiah around his baby, so Portia suggested she could play that game too and ban Jordan from their child.
Portia defended Isaiah since there was no real proof he was the other driver who fled the crash site.
The situation was different with Curtis since Portia saw that attack with her own eyes and would testify in court if need be.
Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Ethan admitted he liked multiple sources of income and suggested Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) could use someone discreet for her more nuanced dealings.
Tracy agreed she could use someone with Ethan’s skills and wanted him to make sure nothing got in the way of Brook Lynn adopting Phoebe with Chase.
Tracy made it crystal clear that there was nothing more important than her granddaughter and the family she was building.
Ethan promised he’d do everything he could to help and said everybody loves a happy ending.
At an art gallery in Manhattan, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) met with the owner, who was named Apollo (Maxwell Caulfield).
Apollo knew Ava and was eager to show her some pieces Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) would be interested in, but Ava admitted they were there to ask questions about Delilah Wilson.
Apollo confessed to poaching Delilah from another gallery, but he couldn’t offer anything more than he’d already told the police since she was such a private person.
Apollo eventually stepped away to call Ethan about Ava and Alexis’ visit, but he assured Ethan that he hadn’t told them much of anything.
Once Apollo reappeared, Ava decided to do things her way and tossed the wealthy Quartermaine name around.
Apollo decided maybe he could offer something after all and showed a picture of Delilah that was taken at an exhibit opening last July.
As Friday’s GH episode wrapped up, Alexis and Ava were taken aback over the photo, which showed Ethan smiling with his arm around Delilah.
General Hospital spoilers say Ava and Alexis will have to figure out their next move now that they know Ethan and Delilah’s connection, so stay tuned.
