General Hospital Monday, August 17 Recap: Chase Plays Hero for Willow, Brook Lynn Spies Cozy Moment

General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, August 17, reveals that Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) came to Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) rescue, which led to Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) getting an eyeful.

While jogging on the Quartermaine property, shirtless Chase saw that Willow was moving back in and questioned her.

Willow tried to act like she was doing this because it was better than shuffling the kids around so much.

Over with Brook Lynn, she lashed out at Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) after hearing about Willow’s move-in.

Brook Lynn worried it could cause another crisis in her marriage with Chase, but Tracy thought they were stronger now.

Back at the gatehouse, Willow worried when she couldn’t find Amelia Corinthos’ (Sienna Goerisch) favorite stuffed animal because she couldn’t sleep without it.

Chase played the hero by finding it in a different box, so Willow was grateful.

When Brook Lynn showed up with a plant for Willow, she caught Chase and his ex-wife looking too cozy.

Brook Lynn plastered on a smile to greet Willow anyway and hurried Chase out of there for their time by the lake with Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).

Later, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) showed up to remind Willow that spending time with the kids was contingent upon her following his rules.

Over with Tracy again, she pushed Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) to spy for her since she obviously still had some concerns about Willow and Chase.

Yuri had been at the gatehouse earlier, so he knew Chase and Willow had already spent time alone unpacking.

At GH, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) talked to Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) about signing the lease on a new apartment.

Joe had high hopes about an apartment as well since Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) was going to show him one from the list Lucas previously offered.

At the Metro Court pool, Lucy gave Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) the news that Micheal was single following his breakup with Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell).

Serena made it clear that a real romance wasn’t going to happen with Michael and said she’d rather prove they deserved the shares than seduce him.

Lucy still wanted Serena to keep an open mind about the romantic possibilities.

Afterward, Lucy took Joe to look at a potential new apartment and felt confident that he’d want to e-sign on the spot.

Joe seemed to like the place, but neither of them knew it was the same apartment Lucas had already signed the lease for.

At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, she summoned Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) and pushed him to ruin Josslyn’s search for a suitable CEO replacement so she’d have to take the job herself.

Hudson was skeptical, but Carly explained that Josslyn got shot and almost died recently.

Jasper “Jax” Jasper’s (Ingo Rademacher) decision to put Josslyn in charge was obviously about keeping her safe, so she pushed Hudson to fight harder to keep Joss in the position permanently.

Lucas showed up and realized what Carly was up to, so he pushed her to back off since trying to control Josslyn would only make things worse.

At Josslyn’s request, Michael agreed to vet the new CEO candidates once Hudson gave her a shortlist, but he wanted something in exchange.

Michael revealed that Willow was moving back on the property, so he didn’t want Josslyn getting tangled up in drama with her.

Once Hudson found Josslyn by the boathouse with Michael, she revealed that she hired her brother as a consultant.

Josslyn forced Hudson to hand over the info he had so that Michael could help her choose who took over the CEO seat.

After Hudson was alone with Josslyn, he asked if she was scared she’d tank the company if she stayed in the role.

Josslyn insisted her loyalty was to the WSB, so she refused to let herself get manipulated into remaining with Jasper Jacks Enterprises.

General Hospital spoilers say Josslyn and Hudson have more clashing ahead of them, so don’t miss what’s in store.
