General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, June 15, reveals that Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) was on a mission while Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) realized it was game over.
Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) also delivered some big news at the PCPD, so here’s how Monday’s GH episode played out.
By the Quartermaine boathouse, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) put Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) on babysitting duty while he went to grab a bottle for Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creighton).
Emma panicked over Phoebe crying while Gio was gone, but he reassured her once he got back.
After Emma told a story about her younger brother ruining a night with her high school boyfriend, Gio questioned her about her ex.
Emma downplayed the romance and suggested what she had with Gio was the real thing before they kissed.
In the Quartermaine kitchen, Yuri (Cyrus Hobbi) fixed up Willow’s scraped knee following her lake tumble.
Once Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) found out about Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) getting arrested for assaulting Willow, Brook Lynn dashed down to the police station.
That left Michael to give Willow a gentle nudge to let this go for the kids’ sake since they loved Tracy and needed stability.
At the PCPD, Tracy insisted she was innocent and that Chase was a fool who fell for it when Willow threw herself into the lake.
Chase admitted he hadn’t actually witnessed the assault, but he didn’t see why Willow would shout that Tracy was hurting her if it wasn’t true.
ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) argued that Tracy could go after the PCPD hard with lawsuit since she had deep pockets and power.
However, Chase thought that Justine should examine her own bias against Willow.
Dante took Tracy into the interrogation room and removed her handcuffs before getting her side of the story.
Brook Lynn also showed up and confronted Chase over Tracy’s arrest, but he defended Willow as usual.
Once Brook Lynn spoke with Tracy alone, Tracy admitted she lured Willow to the boathouse to prove she was after Chase.
Brook Lynn already knew Willow’s game and was handling it, so she pushed Tracy to just give Willow an apology for now.
Dante also spoke to Chase and seemed eager to clear all this up before Tracy could be arraigned.
Willow eventually showed up and agreed she wouldn’t press charges, so Chase praised her for being the bigger person.
At the Metro Court Gardens, Mayor Laura Collins (Genie Francis) gave Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) a statement to print regarding the Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) situation.
Off the record, Laura confessed that she hated Sidwell and was glad more people were starting to see him as a “thug.”
Talk eventually turned to Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) as Laura worked to reassure Lulu about her son.
Nearby, Nina voiced concerns over Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) going missing, but “Nathan West” aka Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) acted like Liesl must’ve gone searching for Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) off the radar.
After Nathan approached Lulu, they cleared the air over all the Rocco drama that had gone down.
Lulu later spoke to Laura about what would happen once they got a lead on Rocco’s location.
Lulu and Dante would go find Rocco themselves according to Lulu.
Since Spoon Island was crawling with WSB agents, Valentin shut down Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) idea about getting Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) help to create a diversion.
Valentin insisted on distracting the WSB himself so that Carly could slip into the tunnels and search for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Nina wanted to review the hotel security footage regarding Obrecht, so she showed up at the house and shared her fears about Liesl’s disappearance with Carly as well as Valentin.
Carly agreed to approve Nina’s request to look at the security footage at the Metro Court before Nina took off.
Valentin realized the project already had a new scientist and knew they were out of time.
That’s why Valentin decided he had to listen to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) and turn himself in.
Next, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) surprised Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) by admitting they were planning a book launch party for her.
Molly was weirded out over Ric and Alexis coming together on this and even more weirded out when Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) privately suggested that her parents might’ve rekindled something romantically.
General Hospital spoilers say Molly’s book launch bash is sure to come with some curveballs, so stay tuned.
