General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, May 18, reveals that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) discovered something shocking while in captivity.
Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) also faced a tough blow while Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) dealt with some legal drama, so here’s how Monday’s episode played out.
At the Metro Court Gardens, Detective Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) showed up with another officer.
Isaiah was clutching his hand in pain after falling on it as Joe asked questions about what happened.
After Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) and Isaiah pointed the finger at Curtis over the punch, Joe arrested Curtis and took him down to the police station.
Since Isaiah was injured, an ambulance was called to take him to GH.
That’s where Isaiah learned he’d need multiple surgeries since he had 11 fractures along with some severed tendons in his wrist.
While Isaiah fumed over Curtis destroying his hand, Curtis talked to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) at the PCPD and insisted this was a big misunderstanding.
Dante removed Curtis’ handcuffs, so Joe didn’t look happy about that and privately questioned another cop about the odds of Curtis wiggling out of an arrest.
Dante took Curtis in the interrogation room, where he ranted about Isaiah leaving the scene of the accident and leaving him to die along with Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper).
Curtis offered to apologize to Isaiah and Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) as well as pay for Isaiah’s medical bills, but Dante admitted they were past that and said he’d have to get bailed out.
Jordan was with ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) when Curtis called her about getting arrested.
After Jordan donned a scarf to cover her head, she made her way to the police station.
In the interrogation room, Curtis insisted Isaiah was the criminal here and took the blame off himself.
Next, Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) had a sweet bonding session with Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) now that he was getting back into music.
At home, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) broke down in tears over shattering Anna’s favorite mug and got some support from Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner).
Laura Collins (Genie Francis) alluded to some news about Anna at the police station before speaking with Emma, Felicia and Mac Scorpio (John J. York) at Anna’s old apartment.
Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) had passed along some information to Laura, so she explained that Anna escaped from the clinic and hijacked a car before getting caught.
As a result, Anna was being transferred to a maximum-security facility, so Emma complained about her grandma being treated like a criminal and feared her paranoia over Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) would get even worse under stricter conditions.
While Laura hinted about someone who might be able to help, Ava Jerome (Maura West) met up with Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) at Bobbie’s.
Nina was on edge over Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) hospitalization, so Ava was a little perplexed over why she cared so much.
Ava also vented about Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean) being Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) newest bodyguard and told Ava how horrible he’d been to her.
Once Justine joined Sonny at the apartment above Charlie’s Pub, they talked about Curtis’ arrest.
Justine didn’t like the idea of prosecuting Curtis since it would only cause more pain for Jordan, who was already hurting so much.
In captivity, Josslyn told Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) the story of going after the murderer of someone she cared about and getting retribution, which led to her joining the WSB.
Cassius was adamant that Josslyn wasn’t going anywhere, but she didn’t seem so sure about that.
Once Cassius left Josslyn for the night, she noticed something and pulled the bed back so she could see what was written on the wall.
Anna had written that she was held captive there and that she was taken on October 31, 2025, so Josslyn made an alarming discovery.
