General Hospital (GH) recap for Monday, November 2, reveals that Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) faced some unfortunate legal drama.
Jude Jacks (Wil Traval) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) also had a tense first encounter at the Brown Dog Bar, so here’s how Monday’s episode went down.
At the nature preserve, Valentin dumped Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) finger next to the hand poking out of the ground and tried to take off with Carly.
Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) spotted Valentin and Carly with the body before they could bolt, so he searched Valentin and found the baggie that had been holding the finger.
Once Joe brought Carly and Valentin to the police station, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) arrived to help clean up the mess.
However, Valentin held back info regarding Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), which left Martin at a disadvantage in creating a defense.
Joe eventually arrested Carly and Valentin, but Martin protested about the lack of evidence.
Back in the nature preserve, the CSI team investigated and discovered the “C” bracelet that Charlotte had lost, which was still attached to Brennan’s jacket.
After Danny filled Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) in on all the Brennan body news, Jason went running after Valentin and Carly in nature preserve.
Jason realized he was too late since the place was now a crime scene.
At Josslyn’s apartment, she sought Hudson Parker’s (Troy Lennon Appel) help investigating Jude now that he was in Port Charles and going after Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).
Hudson played along, but he seemed eager to deter Josslyn from continuing her search for answers and suggested taking the rest of the night off.
At Brown Dog Bar, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) crossed paths with Jude, who admitted he returned there hoping to run into her.
Britt shut down Jude’s idea of making introductions, but she agreed to another night of anonymous passion.
However, Josslyn and Hudson’s arrival derailed things moments later.
Britt quickly gathered that Jude was Josslyn’s cousin and watched as tension erupted between them.
After Jude got in Josslyn’s face, Hudson stepped in front of her and played the hero.
Jude made it clear that he was just as much of a Jacks as Josslyn and was entitled to things as a result.
Josslyn tried to warn Britt away from Jude, but Britt didn’t need anyone telling her who she should spend her time with.
Although Britt confirmed her name to Jude in the aftermath, she felt they already knew too much about each other now and opted out of another night together.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) told Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) about Jude’s visit to her office, where he confirmed he had IVF paperwork for Delilah Wilson (Lily Cardone).
Alexis couldn’t divulge Ethan Lovett’s (last played by Christian Howard) name as the bio dad on the adoption documents, but she did agree to alert him to the situation.
Chase worried about what would happen if the guy admitted he was lying about being Phoebe’s father.
Alexis acknowledged that would mean Jude would have a real claim on Phoebe.
That said, Alexis said there may be a way to undercut Jude’s position.
Since they had a legally finalized adoption with a court-sanctioned DNA test from the father of record, Jude was just like someone walking in off the street.
Jude needed a court-mandated DNA test to prove he was the father, so Brook Lynn said their only job was to make sure he didn’t get one.
Despite Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) stalker accusations, Heather Webber (Alley Mills) denied being behind the flower deliveries and creepy website.
Heather only rented the Cat’s Eye Lounge for the evening so she could speak with Trina about her return to Port Charles, which involved being near family and spoiling her grandson, Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kieran Barry).
Trina, Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup), Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruener) remained on edge as they grilled Heather.
Thanks to her faulty hip lawsuit settlement, Heather was now rolling in dough and had purchased Spoon Island.
Heather tried to invite Trina and the others over to Wyndemere for dinner, but Trina thought that was despicable considering her past crimes.
Trina vowed to have Heather arrested if she didn’t stay away and suggested she’d take great pleasure in watching her get locked up.
After Trina, Kai, Gio and Emma exited, Heather walked over to look at the latest “biggest fan” card and seemed pensive.
At GH, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) watched Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) have a sweet interaction with a child who was stuck at the hospital on Halloween.
Since Dante triggered his knee injury running after a teenager who committed a prank, Liz insisted on having it looked at.
General Hospital spoilers say Dante and Liz’s budding romance will lead to trouble for Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), so stay tuned.
