General Hospital (GH) weekly preview video for the week of August 17-21 shows that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) and Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) will form an alliance, and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) visits Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) at Pentonville.
Plus, Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) and Ava Jerome (Maura West) come together to plot Sonny’s downfall!
The ABC soap just dropped its weekly promo, and fans need to brace for five explosive days in the land of Port Charles.
General Hospital’s preview video opens with a scene between Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst).
The two ‘friends’ are on the couch in Liz’s home, enjoying a glass of wine. They lovingly look into each other’s eyes as they clink glasses.
Meanwhile, Ric can be heard in the voiceover saying, “There’s a growing connection between the two of them.”
As scenes shift, Ric is saying this to Lulu! He goes on to note, “… and if we don’t break it, you and I are going to lose the loves of our lives!”
Lulu looks skeptical as Ric tells her this, so is she unsure about partnering up with Ric or the possibility of Dante and Liz becoming a thing?
Lulu may be unsure about even wanting to ruin a romance for Dante, as she and her ex haven’t had those kinds of feelings for each other for a while now.
As the GH promo continues, Drew and Ava are at the Metro Court Pool enjoying a drink.
Unlike Ric and Lulu, these two are in a bonafide alliance, and looking to decimate a mutual enemy: Sonny Corinthos!
As Ava sips on a mimosa, Drew tells her, “Together, we can take Sonny down!”
Ava seems to like what Drew is telling her as she gives him a smile. Still, what kind of plan will these two come up with, and should Sonny be concerned?

Sidwell walks out into the visitor area of the prison as he states, “It was only a matter of time before you showed up.”
He’s wearing a beige prison jumpsuit. Of course, Sonny is shown waiting for his rival to arrive. The mob boss tells Sidwell, “Beige is not your color.”
