General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that good news is ahead for Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) following his final faceoff with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota).
Sidwell thought he could use ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) to back Sonny into a corner, but this is all building to Sidwell’s downfall and departure.
One way or another, GH spoilers confirm Sidwell will face his comeuppance.
Despite Sidwell’s best efforts to come out on top, it’s just not going to happen for him!
It’s possible Sidwell will suffer a grim fate, but prison might be the more likely option if the show wants to keep him alive for future return stints.
Sidwell is definitely an entertaining villain who might be worth bringing back down the road.
For now, Sidwell is headed for the exit door, so that’ll give Sonny an opportunity to get some of his power back in Port Charles.
Sonny has been dealing with Sidwell and his drama for far too long, so he’ll be happy to finally put an end to all that.
Summer preview spoilers indicate that Sonny will take advantage of this chance to be top dog again in Port Charles.
Without Sidwell causing problems, Sonny can focus on restoring his powerful reputation and reclaiming everything the Corinthos name stands for.
That’s something Sonny will concentrate on in the months ahead, so look for Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will help Sonny along the way.
However, it looks like Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may be wary of all the trust Sonny has placed in Ric upon his return home.
Jason will make it out of his WSB imprisonment nightmare and head back to Port Charles, where he’s set to make some big changes of his own.
Although Jason may end up getting out of the mob, he’ll still care about Sonny and may warn that putting so much trust in Ric is a mistake.
Whatever the case, Sidwell’s exit will pave the way for new Sonny storylines, so don’t miss all the excitement.
