General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 20-24 suggest that Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) could charge Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) for WSB Director Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting.
The ABC soap just released its week’s promo, and there’s a scene that indicates Rocco and his family could be headed for some major drama.
The weekly preview video for July 20 to July 24 has a clip of Anna in the PCPD interrogation room with WSB Chief, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
Anna will head back to work in the days ahead and return to her role as the department’s police commissioner.
Anna is shown telling Brennan, “Cassius [Faison – Ryan Paevey] had the strongest motive to shoot Cullum that night.”
Brennan replies that Cassius is not the one who shot Cullum.
While Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returned to the canvas during the Monday, July 20 episode, before that, his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), was desperate to have his father released from WSB custody.
When Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) informed Danny that his father didn’t shoot Cullum, rather it was Rocco, Danny spiraled.
He was mad at Rocco for not stepping up to the plate and admitting the truth; Danny was also upset that his father took the fall for a crime he did not commit.
In hopes that this new information could have his father released, Danny went to Brennan and told him the truth about Cullum’s shooting.
At that point, Cullum had already met his demise.
GH fans may recall that Danny reached out to Brennan after all the events on Spoon Island unfolded, and Brennan noted that the WSB had bigger fish to fry at this point.
With Cullum’s passing, Rocco, who had left town for his own protection, came back.
Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) and Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) felt like the threat on Rocco was over; however, with Anna now leading the PCPD, they could be wrong.
The WSB may have let things slide, but the Port Charles Police Department still has an ongoing investigation open for Cullum’s pier shooting.
Plus, with Anna being a very changed woman on a mission of her own, could that include hauling Rocco into the station to have him arrested?
Would Danny’s testimony be enough for an arrest? Fans know that there’s missing evidence on Cullum’s shooting, thanks to Dante.
Dante ensured to cover up Rocco’s involvement to protect his son.
Anna may notice missing evidence, which would land Dante in a lot of trouble.
Still, could Anna also gather enough intel to arrest Rocco? Would she want to cross that line?
General Hospital spoilers note that Rocco, Dante, and Lulu may not be out of the woods just yet, where Cullum’s shooting is concerned, so it’ll be interesting to see what happens next.
