General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is in a tight spot that’s only going to get tighter from here.
It’s clear that Ava’s attempt to put that whole Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) mess behind her won’t be possible anytime soon.
Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) roped Ava into giving Brennan a sleeping pill, so she drugged Jack’s drink at the Metro Court Gardens.
Of course, Ava couldn’t have known that Brennan would wind up floating dead in the pool that same night!
Drew and Ava decided to move Brennan’s body to the nature preserve near the Quartermaine estate, so this has turned into quite the cover-up.
Ava has good reasons to be nervous now that she’s at the center of two investigations.
Both Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett) and William Baines (Alimi Ballard) are looking at Ava as a suspect, so it’s not surprising that she’s reached out to Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn).
Ava definitely needs legal help if she wants any hope of getting out of this jam.
However, even with an impressive lawyer on her side, Alexis may end up getting arrested.
It already happened to wrongfully accused Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros), so Ava could have some arrest news in her future, too.
There’s obviously more to the story of Brennan’s demise, but Ava is starting to look awfully guilty to the WSB and the cops.
GH fans may see Ava hauled off in handcuffs at some point, which could leave Drew worried that he’s next.
Ava has warned Drew repeatedly that if she goes down, he’s going down with her.
Drew may fear Ava’s going to follow through on that threat if he can’t find some way to get her out of this fast.
Ava will also have to fret over the impact of her arrest on Avery Corinthos (last played by Ava and Grace Scarola) if things get that far.
Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) mentioned that Avery is a teenager now, so it sounds like she’s being aged up for more adult storylines.
This one would qualify and could lead to a slightly older Avery recast dealing with both parents being accused of serious crimes.
Whatever the case, General Hospital spoilers suggest Ava could get arrested and trade spots with Nina, so stay tuned.
