Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) has been concerned about Carly’s connection to Valentin, so he’s hoping the dirt Brick (Stephen A. Smith) provided will eventually blow them apart.
However, Carly and Valentin’s bond could lead to trouble in a way Sonny never expected.
What if Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) ends up targeting Carly due to her new relationship with Valentin?
GH fans know Anna certainly didn’t seem happy about finding Carly and Valentin with their lips all over each other.
In the August 3 episode, “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey) will appear and suggest that Valentin is tied up with Carly instead of being available to help Anna.
We’ll eventually see Anna try to warn Valentin away from Carly with a long list of concerns.
Of course, Valentin is pretty smitten with Carly at this point, so he’ll have no intention of ending their romance.
Instead, Valentin will defend their spark and try to assure Anna that everything is under control.
Unfortunately, no one can truly predict Anna’s behavior when she’s got “Peter” whispering in her ear every step of the way.
Anna is still dealing with a major mental health crisis that’s only going to get worse from here.
Since Carly will have a plan that goes wrong in the August 4 episode, that could be another path to issues.
Anna might start to view Carly as a problem that needs to be taken care of as her relationship with Valentin deepens.
Anna is always going to be protective of Valentin, so that may be a factor in what comes next.
“Peter” might also get inside Anna’s head about Carly posing a distraction that needs to be eliminated.
Anna was wary of killing Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) like “Peter” suggested, but “Peter” made it clear that it needed to happen.
“Peter” might add Carly to the murder list eventually and perhaps try to get Anna to eliminate her next.
