General Hospital’s weekly promo shows Danny punching Rocco at the Quartermaine boathouse, so let’s take a deep dive into this explosive confrontation.
GH spoilers for Monday, September 28, indicate that Rocco will give Danny some shocking news.
All arrows are pointing to the idea that Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) will head to boarding school, and Rocco will fill Danny in on his family’s drama.
Charlotte leaving Port Charles will absolutely devastate Danny. She’s not only his best friend, but someone he’s come to lean on tremendously over the past year.
Danny has been banned from seeing his sister, Scout Cain (Kayden Brenna Tokarski) thanks to Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) restraining order, so he’ll feel lost without his partner in crime around.
To boot, since his father, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was hauled away by the WSB, taking the blame for WSB Director Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting and covering for Rocco, Danny has built up a thick layer of animosity for his stepbrother.
So, there’s no doubt that Danny will be upset that Charlotte’s being shipped away, and he may blame Rocco for being the one to rat her out.
Still, throwing a punch at someone you love seems very aggressive considering that these two boys were so close at one point.
On top of hearing about Charlotte heading to boarding school, will Rocco drop another bombshell?
Rocco has been secretly dating Danny’s younger sister, Scout.
It’s developed a little over time, and the two have been slipping away here and there to spend time together.
In fact, there was a night that Scout was out with Rocco, and Drew figured out that Scout was not home.
As Drew was furious, and in order to protect her new romance, Scout lied to her dad and said she was with Danny.
When Scout gave Danny the heads up, she lied to her brother and told him she had gone to a party and didn’t want her father to know.
Charlotte could see right through Scout’s fib, and when she left, Charlotte told Danny his sister was obviously with a boy.
What if Danny figures out that Rocco is the boy Scout’s been dating and interested in, after the Charlotte boarding school thing?
This may hit him hard. Especially if Rocco doesn’t come clean about it, but Danny puts two-and-two together.
Danny might be even more enraged that Scout threw him under the bus to protect Rocco.
Danny may feel like everyone comes to Rocco’s defense – Jason and now Scout.
This could trigger Danny’s fury, which causes him to lash out, but will it end at one punch or get far more brutal than that?
