General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) isn’t going to just stand by and accept Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) victory.
Could Drew decide to lure Willow into a fatal setup and try to end his soon-to-be former wife permanently?
Drew spent months trapped in his own body with only the ability to blink, so Willow deserves to pay for what she’s done.
That doesn’t mean Drew is a good guy, but there needs to be a satisfying payoff considering everything we’ve watched Willow do.
In GH’s July 28 episode, Willow warned that if Drew killed her, he’d be throwing his life away.
Drew had often imagined grabbing Willow by the neck and squeezing the life out of her, but he ultimately admitted he wasn’t going to do that.
Instead, Drew hoped to expose Willow’s horrible actions and watch her entire life crumble, but that may not be possible now that Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) has blackmailed him into accepting Willow’s terms.
Drew hinted that Willow should enjoy her freedom while it lasts, so he seemingly still plans to bring her down somehow.
What if Drew returns to his original desire to kill Willow and just goes about it in a sneakier way?
Drew might plot an “accident” for Willow at some point in the coming weeks. Maybe Drew could decide to stage Willow’s demise and wipe her off the map while keeping his hands clean.
The longer Willow goes without facing any real consequences, the angrier Drew’s going to get.
Willow gets to go right on with her life and will even remain a congresswoman, so Drew will fume until she faces some sort of comeuppance.
Drew doesn’t want to land in prison, so he can’t just pump a couple of bullets in her like she previously did to him!
Instead, Drew might sabotage Willow’s car to arrange a crash or perhaps set some other fatal trap for her to walk into.
One way or another, Drew could plot Willow’s deadly downfall. Of course, that doesn’t mean Drew’s plan will be successful, but we could definitely envision some scenario where he indeed tries to eliminate Willow.
