General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) will realize he needs to make a move.
Drew is overdue for a dose of the paralytic drug that Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) is supplying, so the paralysis will start to wear off a bit.
GH fans know Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) is a little preoccupied at the moment since she just jabbed Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) with the syringe she was supposed to give Drew.
That means Drew’s drug dose is going to be delayed even further while Nina and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) deal with all the mayhem in the living room.
Drew is on his own in the bedroom right now, so he’ll be hopeful once he realizes he can move his fingers.
That’ll bring some flexing as Drew presumably tries to get some feeling back in his arms and legs, too.
Drew may hope that he can eventually stand up and start taking some steps.
No one can blame Drew for trying here since this is the first real chance at freedom that he’s had in months!
However, Drew’s drug isn’t going to wear off fast enough for him to totally get back to his old self.
Plus, Drew’s muscles have no doubt atrophied a bit due to lack of movement.
Even if Drew tries to drag himself toward the door, he’s not going to get far.
At some point, Nina may go digging for another syringe and jab Drew like she should’ve done before Brennan arrived.
Valentin is armed and might be willing to help subdue Drew if it comes to that.
Of course, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) has to come home at some point, so she might realize if you have to do a job yourself if you want it done right!
Willow might find Drew’s escape in progress and become the one to stop him in the end,
We could certainly imagine Willow diving for the stash of syringes and giving Drew one that instantly sends him back into a state of paralysis.
Although there’ll be a close call involving Drew, this storyline isn’t over yet!
Drew won’t escape like he was hoping, so he’ll have to remain under Willow and Sidwell’s control.
