General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Ezra Boyle’s (Daniel Cosgrove) incompetence has put him on thin ice with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) lately.
Ezra tried to stand up to Sidwell a bit, but he was forced to fall back in line when Sidwell pulled a gun on him.
At this point, Ezra is worried that if he can’t prove useful enough, Sidwell could follow through on wiping him off the map.
Since Sidwell has no problem eliminating people who are expendable, that alone has given Ezra a reason to fear for his life.
Of course, Ezra is now risking even more by teaming up with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) on a plot to bring Sidwell down.
Although Ezra would love the chance to finally have his freedom again, this feels like a plan that could easily backfire.
Sidwell has become an extremely important GH character with a huge presence on the show.
Since Sidwell is such a significant baddie, his inevitable downfall is going to be epic and part of a major storyline when that day comes.
In other words, there’s no way it’ll be as simple as Laura and Ezra emerging victorious with their little takedown scheme.
It’s a fun idea to have Ezra and Laura join forces, but it’s doubtful they’ll truly be able to accomplish much of anything.
Instead, this could give Sidwell another reason to turn against Ezra and want him gone.
Sidwell could ultimately find out Ezra and Laura are working together, so that could seal Ezra’s grim fate.
Ezra doesn’t want to become another body in Laura’s trunk or anywhere else for that matter.
Unfortunately, Ezra could indeed become a corpse that’s meant to send Laura a disturbing message.
Sidwell might show off Ezra in his deceased state and take a moment to rub Laura’s face in what she’s done.
Perhaps Sidwell will blame Laura for filling Ezra’s head with betrayal ideas and making sure he faced a fatal outcome.
Sidwell might warn that Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom) and Ace Cassadine (Karis and Kieran Barry) could be next if Laura doesn’t stay in line and stop all her plotting.
