General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that when Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) returns to Port Charles, he’ll have a totally new outlook on life.
Jason may be on the verge of dumping Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and focusing on a very different future.
GH fans know Jason and Britt were forced apart when he took the blame for Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) shooting Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).
It led to Britt and Jason exchanging love declarations before he was hauled off by the WSB.
However, there’s no guarantee that the show will continue Jason and Britt’s love story once he’s back in PC.
We can certainly think of a few things that may cause issues for Britt and Jason once he pops up again.
Jason delivered a heartfelt plea for Britt to come clean about everything she was up against.
Britt finally made a confession about Cullum, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) and the project she’d been roped into, but she still kept a big secret in the end.
Jason was left out of the loop on “Nathan West” actually being his twin brother, Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey).
Cassius has been duping people Jason cares about, so Britt’s lack of honesty here could be a problem.
That’s especially true since Cassius kidnapped Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) and threw her into captivity at Wyndemere.
Jason may blame Britt for that on some level once he returns and receives news on everything he’s missed.
Jason might also realize that all the work he did to help Britt came at a great cost for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).
Since Jason is the only parent Danny has left, it looks like he’s going to rearrange his priorities following his imprisonment for his son’s sake.
Danny needs a father he can count on, so Jason may be determined to step up for him in the dad department.
It looks like Jason may get out of the mob and could perhaps cut ties with Britt since she’s a drama magnet, too.
Of course, it’s possible Britt and Jason could still have a chance at a future eventually.
That said, it seems Jason may want to focus on Danny and family connections rather than romantic ones when he first returns to Port Charles.
General Hospital spoilers say Jason will seek a new beginning, so stay tuned to see what’s next for him.
