General Hospital Spoilers: Jason Escapes, Returns to Port Charles to Take Out Cullum

General Hospital (GH) spoilers suggest that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) may make a splashing return to Port Charles by escaping his WSB prison to take out Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

The last General Hospital fans saw, the henchman was being hauled away by the super spy agency to parts unknown for shooting the double agent.

Cullum has been doing the WSB dirty by working with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) on Cesar Faison’s (Anders Hove) last project, but the agency doesn’t know that.

As Jason shot, or so they think, the WSB head, he’s a whole heap of trouble right now, and his future seems very uncertain.

Jason confessed to shooting Cullum to protect Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr) from facing any consequences for his actions.

As GH viewers know, Rocco was the one who shot Cullum – not Jason – but Jason quickly worked with Fake Nathan West a.k.a. Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) to cover up this fact.

According to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna), Jason is at a facility in Jakarta, a large city in Indonesia, and knowing the WSB, he’s likely under strict surveillance.

With that said, as one of the biggest heroes on the ABC soap, it’s hard not to think that Jason will be able to pull off the impossible: escaping the WSB prison and making his way back to his loved ones.

Will someone in the WSB – whether intentional or by accident – tip Jason off that Cullum is still alive?

This may provide Jason with the motivation to escape his predicament to protect his loved ones.

On top of worrying about his son, Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn), who could face backlash for Jason shooting Cullum, if he finds out that Cullum is alive, Jason may also worry about the danger Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is in.

Jason left the little town, presuming Cullum was shot dead, and the WSB Director still being alive changes everything.

While characters linked to the WSB, like Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart), and Brennan, are all saying there’s little chance anyone will ever see Jason again, fans know that is likely not the case.

Steve Burton promised to return to the canvas in the summer, and pretty much everyone in PC knows that if anyone can escape the WSB’s clutches, it’s Sonny Corinthos’s (Maurice Benard) right-hand man.

The logistics of Jason’s great WSB escape won’t be complicated. General Hospital’s writing team is crafty enough to weave a story – whether believable or not – and Jason is sure to skip out of that Jakarta prison with ease.

Much like Valentin, Jason will lay low without the authorities locating him.

As Britt, Joss, Brennan, Lucas Jones (Van Hansis), as well as Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) and others are aiming to expose Cullum as a double-agent, Jason could walk into a situation where he’s able to hit the nail on Cullum’s coffin and end up the hero in this scenario.

General Hospital spoilers remind fans that Jason’s return is looming in the weeks ahead, and it won’t be long before the mob henchman swings in to save the day and resume his duties as the number one leading man in the land of Port Charles.
