General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that the story of Jasper “Jax” Jacks (last played by Ingo Rademacher) suddenly vanishing to travel the world via sailboat seems rather odd.
Could the truth be that Jax was abducted and is now being held captive somewhere or worse?
Jax put Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) in charge of his company, Jasper Jacks Enterprises, but he’s virtually unreachable since he’s off sailing the globe.
At least that’s the story Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) offered up!
It’s possible this is just a soapy excuse to keep Jax out of this storyline, but we should also consider the possibility that the whole sailing thing is a lie.
What if Jax was taken by force instead of deciding on a lengthy sailboat trip?
Even if Jax was hoping to keep Josslyn out of the WSB through this job, it’s strange that he’d just take off and leave her to fend for herself.
Josslyn has zero CEO experience and has no idea how to run a major business like this.
Of course, Josslyn doesn’t intend on staying in the CEO spot longer than necessary, but this whole situation has felt bizarre from the get-go.
After Josslyn gave Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) news on all this, he immediately seemed suspicious.
Josslyn tried to downplay everything as family drama, but Brennan clearly thinks there’s more going on here.
That’s why Brennan is digging around and hoping to uncover additional information about what’s happening at Jasper Jax Enterprises.
Jax wouldn’t knowingly throw Josslyn into anything shady or dangerous, but this may be out of his control.
Someone else may be behind Hudson’s orders at this point, especially if Jax has been kidnapped or worse!
Due to the show’s past issues with Ingo Rademacher, a recast will presumably be needed if Jax ever shows back up on-screen.
That could happen if Jax requires a rescue sooner or later, but it’s also possible this storyline could end with the character’s fatal outcome.
Regardless, something weird is going on with Jasper Jacks Enterprises, so could Jax’s kidnapping be part of all the mayhem?
Some GH fans suspect Jax’s brother, Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché) could be tangled up in all this, so we’ll see what other revelations might be looming.
