General Hospital Spoilers: Josslyn and Z Lie to Carly About WSB Release?

General Hospital Spoilers: Josslyn and Z Lie to Carly About WSB Release?

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the week of July 6-10 suggest that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) is set to lie about her WSB release (or lack thereof).

Joss made a daring move last week when she shot and unalived WSB Director Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes).

The double agent was wreaking havoc in the spy world, pretending to work for the agency and using the organization’s resources for his own nefarious plans.

Josslyn was shot herself but mustered up the energy to crawl towards a gun, grabbed it, and aimed at Cullum to eliminate him and his dastardly efforts, for good.

Josslyn’s moves caught the attention of Z (John Oliver) after he arrived on scene, and the WSB head honcho was very impressed with how she handled herself.

On top of all that, Joss agreed to lie in her statement and pin the cold fusion project misdeeds on Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey), so the WSB didn’t look bad in the eyes of the public for Cullum’s reign of terror.

Of course, Josslyn did want something in return, the release of Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart); however, this negotiation may have only enhanced Z’s view of Josslyn and how she works.

Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) has been on a mission to get Joss out of the WSB, but it’s clear Josslyn doesn’t want to go anywhere, so where is this storyline going?

General Hospital spoilers for the week of July 6-10 hint that Carly and Z are set to clash.

Carly will demand that the WSB head release Josslyn from her agent duties, but it doesn’t sound like he’ll agree to do so.

In fact, it looks like he’ll try to hit on Carly, which is sure to agitate the blonde, and the man will be greeted with a slap across the face!

No one was supposed to know Josslyn was WSB, but a series of unfortunate events led to her secret career choice coming to the surface.

Months back, she was placed on a WSB mission at the Five Poppies resort, which is when she came face-to-face with her godfather, Jason, and the proverbial beans were eventually spilled.

Despite the slap, Z may still fancy Carly, and there also might be a part of him that doesn’t want to rock the boat.

Will he tell Carly one thing (agree to release Josslyn), but then move forward with another (place her on a secret mission in Port Charles)?

General Hospital writers, Elizabeth Korte and Chris Van Etten, offered a summer preview to SOD recently, where they noted that Joss will have to, “… contend with Carly’s opposition, and commit to a lie that will have consequences for years to come.”

It sounds like Z may agree to release Jason and Valentin, but he’ll have a condition of his own that Joss stay in the WSB.

Heck, she may even get promoted, considering her quick thinking and heroics!

With that said, the key to all this might also be that Josslyn remains hush-hush about her work with the agency, which also means continuing this lie where loved ones are concerned, including her mother.

General Hospital spoilers suggest that Josslyn has become an expert at fibbing to this magnitude, but depending on the depth of her next assignment, will this lie be as ‘easy’ as it seems?
