General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that there are good reasons to worry about Kai Taylor’s (Jens Austin Astrup) safety now that Trina Robinson’s (Tabyana Ali) stalker clearly wants him gone.
Will Kai get killed off thanks to the disturbing obsession chaos that’s threatening to erupt?
In GH’s August 3 episode, Trina’s stalker could be seen digitally removing Kai from a pic they’d taken together.
It felt like the show was foreshadowing that this mystery character might also try to eliminate the real Kai.
We can seemingly rule out Simon (Grady Eldridge) as the stalker since he assumed Trina and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) were a couple until Kai was introduced to him.
Simon’s issues with Kai are about him standing in the way of the picture-perfect duo that Gio and Trina could be in the public eye.
If Simon wanted Trina for himself, he surely wouldn’t be so eager to push her toward Gio.
Quinn (Jequan Jackson) remains an option when it comes to Trina’s potential stalker, but it could just as easily be someone not yet known to fans.
Regardless, the person who’s obsessed with Trina quite literally wants Kai out of the picture.
That Kai removal from Trina’s photo definitely felt significant, so some deadly danger may be in store for him.
Kai is a sweet guy who’s been a decent love interest for Trina, but they’ve never really caught fire with fans.
To be fair, Trina’s deep romance with Spencer Cassadine (Nicholas Alexander Chavez) was a tough act to follow!
Kai and Trina’s relationship certainly isn’t as popular as the one she shared with Spencer once upon a time.
If the show plans on bringing presumed dead Spencer back at some point, they might go ahead and kill Kai off in preparation for that.
Whatever the case, Kai is an expendable character who won’t spark too much outrage if he faces a grim fate.
We could imagine Kai getting sacrificed for the sake of drama in this stalker storyline depending on how things play out.
