General Hospital (GH) spoilers indicate that Elizabeth “Liz” Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) could have an epiphany this week that has her spilling the beans about Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) hand injury to Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna).
The ABC soap released its promo video for the week of May 4-8 and opened with an interesting scene between Dante and Liz.
The two “friends” are in his office at the PCPD when Dante notes, “Someone else got their hands on that gun.”
Liz then replies, “I think I know who that was.” One can only assume they are talking about Ross Cullum’s (Andrew Hawkes) shooting.
With that said, GH weekly promos are infamous for placing scenes together in a sequence that has fans believing a storyline is going one way, only for a plot twist to swerve it in another direction.
Right now, Dante is on a mission, like many others, to help Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and investigate the Cullum shooting.
So many factors don’t add up to Dante regarding the situation, and he wants to get to the bottom of things.
Meanwhile, as fans know, Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) brought Rocco into the ER that night, and knows Rocco shot Cullum, but isn’t breathing a word of it to anyone.
Sadly, her sketchy boyfriend, “Nathan West” a.k.a. Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey), is in the know, as he was the one to think quickly on his feet and usher the boy away from the crime scene and straight into his mother’s arms.
This brings us back to Liz and Dante in his office at the PCPD.
Why Dante would be talking official police business with the nurse seems odd in itself, but considering how close Liz is to this situation, this could be the reason.
Liz didn’t only treat Rocco’s hand the night he was brought in after the shooting, but last week, she separated an unhinged Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) and the boy.
Rocco’s surrogate mom knows what he did, and she warned him to stay away from Cullum, but caught the teen peeking into the WSB Director’s hospital room while he was volunteering.
Britt lashed out at Rocco in frustration, hoping to get through to him about the danger he’s in.
She even aggressively grabbed him, and when Liz caught wind of this, she shut it down.
Could Liz have an epiphany this week about Rocco? Would she share what she knows with Dante?
Liz could piece the situation together or overhearing a conversation could also have her raising an eyebrow.
Could she overhear Britt talking to Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) about Rocco’s circumstance?
It may not mean much in the moment, but it could mean more after her discussion with Dante!
General Hospital spoilers note that when Dante finds out about Jason taking the fall for Rocco, it’s unclear if the man will be grateful or outraged, but fans can rest assured he’ll be angry at Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) for keeping this from him.
