General Hospital Spoilers Monday, August 3: Jason Defends Mob Exit, Brennan’s Liability, Valentin Risks Freedom

General Hospital (GH) spoilers for Monday, August 3, reveal that Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will explain his decision while Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) sparks concern and Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) puts his future at stake.

For starters, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) will get some news that leaves her uneasy and makes her wonder why she didn’t hear about this before.

It could leave Brook Lynn with last-minute adoption concerns about Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creighton).

Next, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) will tell Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) that “if he doesn’t like it, that’s his problem.”

Will this be about Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) or perhaps Quinn (Jequan Jackson) now that he’s trying to make amends?

In the park, Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) will come clean to Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) about using the power of office for personal gain, so Liz will find out about him destroying evidence for Rocco Falconeri’s (Finn Carr) sake.

As for Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy), she’ll warn Brennan that he’s making himself vulnerable to a huge liability.

Brennan made sure Valentin’s assets were unfrozen so he could get that black box back.

If Josslyn eventually finds out helping Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) was Brennan’s motive, that could give her a reason to sound the alarm.

Speaking of sounding the alarm, that’s exactly what Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) will do in her next conversation with Valentin.

Since Valentin is dating Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), Anna may argue that he’s risking Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) wrath.

Anna will point out that Valentin just got his freedom back and worry that he’s throwing it away since Sonny may stop at nothing to keep him away from Carly.

Valentin will also caution Nina in Monday’s GH episode, so he may see how close she’s getting to Brennan and warn that it’s a mistake to trust him at all.

Over with Jason, he’ll stand by the announcement he just made.

Jason doesn’t want to work for Sonny anymore, so he’ll explain why leaving the mob is what’s best for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn).

Since Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco) is deceased, Jason will feel obligated to step up as Danny’s only remaining parent.

If Jason stays on this mob path, he’ll feel like he’ll go to prison if he’s lucky or end up just as dead as Sam.

General Hospital spoilers say Jason will double down on his mob exit as a result and try to help Sonny understand.
