General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy) are on the verge of hiring someone new at Miller & Davis.
These law partners will bring on an associate to help keep up with demand, but the show’s keeping a lid on who exactly they’ll hire so far.
In an interview with SOD, GH Head Writers Chris Van Etten and Elizabeth Korte provided a preview that was all about fresh faces that’ll be hitting Port Charles in the coming weeks.
With so many recasts and new characters on the way, there was a lot to talk about.
One of the topics Korte and Van Etten discussed was Alexis and Diane needing some additional help at their law business.
Diane and Alexis are both great attorneys, but they won’t be able to handle the extreme workload by themselves.
Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo) was a valuable team player, but his life was sadly cut short by Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) right there in the law office.
Finding Marco like that was a memory that Alexis won’t ever forget, but it’s time to move on.
“Alexis and Diane are drowning in billable hours and bring on an associate to help manage the workload,” Korte and Van Etten teased.
“But their new hire may be the source of many new headaches for some on the canvas…”
Since this interview focused on the flood of new cast members and all the July debuts that are coming up, it sounds like this mysterious associate will be someone viewers haven’t seen before.
There’s no confirmation yet on who Diane and Alexis will bring on board, but it sounds like this person will stir up some trouble once they’re in the picture.
Alexis and Davis may approve of the work their new hire is doing, but this person will still cause problems for some Port Charles residents.
Of course, Martin Grey (Michael E. Knight) also just returned to PC and is ready to fight for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to stay out of prison.
Plenty of fans are hoping that Scott Baldwin (Kin Shiner) might return and reenter the legal arena as well down the road.
