General Hospital (GH) spoilers for the next two weeks, August 3 to August 14, reveal that there’ll be some underhanded power plays, risky plots and a whole lot more, so let’s discuss what GH fans can expect.
During the week of August 3-7, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) will dig his heels in despite Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) attempt to talk him into staying with the mob.
Jason’s mind will be made up since being there for Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) is the most important thing.
Over with Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard), they’ll acknowledge a milestone.
Chase and Brook Lynn will have a reason to celebrate, so it sounds like Phoebe’s (Luna and Lucia Creighton) adoption will become official.
Next, Ava Jerome (Maura West) and Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) will have another heated confrontation.
It’ll lead to Ava having a lightbulb moment and deciding she needs an ally against Sonny, so will that ally be Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart)?
Curtis Ashford’s (Donnell Turner) trial will eventually kick off, so Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) will get on the witness stand for some tense scenes.
Will the courtroom drama end with Curtis facing a prison sentence or will he ultimately be acquitted?
While Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) plots with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) and makes a bold move at Deception, Sonny will announce a surprise of his own.
Speaking of surprises, Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) will get a shock that could be related to Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel).
Hudson and Josslyn’s first encounter could raise suspicions for her about the shady businessman’s motives for being in town.
As for Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen), she’ll sense that more trouble is on the horizon thanks to a new threat.
That could tie in with Jacinda Bracken’s (Paige Herschell) upcoming scheme to push Willow out of Michael Corinthos’ (Rory Gibson) orbit.
However, Jacinda may cross some lines that Michael doesn’t approve of since their relationship will come with some friction as the week of August 10-14 gets underway.
As for Laura Collins (Genie Francis), her visit to Ireland will leave her reeling over a new development related to Kevin Collins (Jon Lindstrom).
There’ll be problems in Laura’s marriage, so could she find out Kevin is seeing someone else?
Elsewhere, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) recording contract will leave Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) with some mixed emotions.
Although Emma will remain proud of her boyfriend and excited for his future, she’ll also worry about how Gio’s new career will affect things between them.
Gio and Emma’s relationship will inevitably be tested, but she’ll cling to hope that it’ll all work out in the end.
Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) also has some stalker-related issues headed her way, so her romance with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) could come with some curveballs, too.
