General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Liesl Obrecht (Kathleen Gati) and Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) are going through a terrible ordeal that’s going to bond them in a unique way.
Josslyn and Liesl are never going to be BFFs, but they’re enduring a captivity crisis together that’s going to connect them.
Of course, Obrecht and Josslyn have plenty of time to talk down in the hostage area of Wyndemere.
Josslyn and Liesl have already been bickering about the cold fusion project and what Obrecht’s next steps should be.
This could present the opportunity for a deal depending on how things play out.
Josslyn suggested Obrecht should sabotage the project and make sure she delivers a prototype that doesn’t work.
Liesl is wary of doing anything that could put Cassius Faison aka “Nathan West” (Ryan Paevey) in danger, but Josslyn might bargain with her.
Josslyn could promise to cover up Cassius’ guilt in all this and keep his identity a secret once they’re free.
Then again, Obrecht and Josslyn might make a pact to do that regardless of how things go with the project.
Cassius is responsible for kidnapping Josslyn, but he’s also saved her life multiple times at this point.
If Cassius hadn’t abducted Josslyn, then Cullum could’ve killed her just as easily as he marched into the law office and killed Marco Rios (Adrian Anchondo).
Cassius has arguably been right all along about Josslyn being safer as a hostage – or at least he was right until Cullum found her down there.
Now Cassius has thwarted Cullum’s efforts to kill Josslyn on more than one occasion, so Josslyn owes him.
As for Liesl, GH fans know she couldn’t stay mad for long when she found out Cassius has been masquerading as Nathan.
Instead, Obrecht is working to keep Cassius safe and clearly feels something for the son she never knew until now.
Liesl will just be robbed of more time with Cassius if he lands in prison when this is all over.
Obrecht might plead with Josslyn to keep Cassius’ involvement under wraps and let everyone keep believing he’s Nathan.
With Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) on the run and Cullum likely on the verge of a fatal exit, Liesl may see the potential to let Cassius keep living “Nathan’s” life once he’s free from them.
Liesl might play up how devastated James West (Gary James Fuller) would be to learn the truth and push Josslyn to help her bury Cassius’ secrets.
Josslyn could easily claim that Cullum or one of his random goons snatched her when it’s time to spill their story to the cops and WSB.
That could delay Cassius’ shocking news from going public a bit longer if that’s what the writers have in mind.
