General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Charlotte Cassadine’s (Bluesy Burke) crush could lead to trouble.
It’s obvious that Charlotte is into Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), so she could let her Cassadine side take over as she potentially plots his split from Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner).
In the July 21 episode, Charlotte flirted with Gio by the pool, sought his guidance and even bonded with him over music.
GH fans could practically see the hearts in Charlotte’s eyes when she was gazing at Gio, but then Emma came along to burst her bubble.
Charlotte is clearly too young for Gio since she’s still in high school.
Even if Charlotte were old enough to date Gio, she wouldn’t have a chance since he’s completely devoted to Emma at this point.
However, that may not stop Charlotte from developing an obsession with Gio and letting her jealousy spiral out of control.
Charlotte indeed looked jealous once Emma popped up to make out with Gio, who doted on her as usual during their time together.
Emma and Gio happily flaunt their love on a daily basis, but Charlotte didn’t appreciate the sight of their sizzling encounter.
The more Charlotte has to watch Gio and Emma on cloud nine, the more determined she may become to blow up their relationship.
Charlotte has always been a schemer, which isn’t surprising since she’s the granddaughter of Helena Cassadine (Constance Towers).
Perhaps Charlotte will channel Helena a bit as she plots to push Emma out of the way and try to steal Gio for herself.
Of course, Gio seems to view Charlotte as more of a little sister, especially since she’s siblings with his actual half-brother, Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr).
Charlotte has the wrong idea about their bonding sessions, but her Gio obsession could lead to chaos anyway.
How far will Charlotte go to break up Gio and Emma?
