General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Hudson Parker (Troy Lennon Appel) recently uncovered some important details about Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton).
Hudson got some big hints that Phoebe is Delilah Wilson’s (Lily Cardone) baby, but how exactly does he fit into the picture?
This seems like a good time to discuss the true story of Hudson, Delilah and Phoebe.
It’s clear that there’s a connection here, so let’s talk about what we know so far and the twists that could still be brewing in this GH storyline.
Delilah seemed terrified of some mysterious threat when Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) and Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) first found her in distress.
After Delilah brought Phoebe into the world, her life was cut tragically short.
Ethan Lovett (last played by Christian Howard) was supposed to meet up with Delilah in Port Charles and help her after a job they worked together went wrong.
It came as a terrible, heartbreaking shock when Ethan found out Delilah was deceased.
That led to Ethan posing as Phoebe’s father to protect her and make sure the closed adoption went through.
Ethan hoped that would be the end of it, but then he caught a glimpse of Hudson, panicked and left town in a hurry.
Hudson caught up with Ethan and attacked him in Norway, where Ethan revealed Delilah was dead and claimed Phoebe didn’t make it either.
Here’s where things get interesting: Hudson immediately wondered what he was supposed to do now.
It was a strange reaction that made it seem like Hudson was facing a dilemma more than he was facing grief.
Thanks to the bug Hudson planted, he ultimately realized Ethan lied about the baby and continued his quest for answers back in Port Charles.
The show appears to have intentionally left the door open for Phoebe’s father to be someone else.
Fans already went through this same scenario with Ethan since he looked like Phoebe’s bio dad for a while.
It wasn’t until Ethan faked the paternity test that viewers got confirmation he wasn’t the real deal.
Since Ethan stole a DNA sample from a PCPD cold case box, that raises doubts about whether Hudson is actually the baby daddy.
Hudson is obviously new to Port Charles, so why would his DNA be part of a PCPD cold case?
It’s possible that Hudson is secretly working for some villainous character of the past like Jerry Jacks (Sebastian Roché) or some other baddie that fans might recognize.
Hudson didn’t have a particularly paternal reaction when fished for information about Phoebe’s adoption.
It was more like Hudson was gathering intel and getting a lightbulb moment instead of feeling drawn to Phoebe as his daughter.
Hudson did hint that he couldn’t imagine giving up a child like that, but that may have just been a way to throw fans off the trail.
Bottom line, Hudson is definitely dangerous and a key player in this storyline involving Delilah as well as Phoebe.
That said, it doesn’t necessarily mean Hudson is the bio dad if the show still intends to deliver a few more curveballs!
