General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) may come forward where the car crash is concerned and admit to being the other driver, all in an effort to help her granddaughter, Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton), out of this sticky situation.
The Quartermaine matriarch is fiercely protective of her family, and she’s been BLQ’s advisor when it comes to this mess, so let’s unpack this storyline plot twist.
As fans know, since Brook Lynn realized Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) and Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) had a vehicle collision, she’s wanted to step forward.
Brook Lynn was seemingly on the same road when Jordan was distracted and swerved into the oncoming lane.
This caused BLQ to swerve into the guardrail, while Jordan and Curtis crashed.
To be fair, had Brook Lynn realized that Curtis and Jordan suffered a near-fatal crash, she would’ve stopped.
With that said, it was dark, and she was focused on getting to Charlie’s Pub to see her son, Gio Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza), perform for the first time in a long time.
The major point surrounding why Brook Lynn has remained hush-hush for this long is that she had consumed a glass of wine before heading out.
On top of that, she had had this glass of wine during a catch-up talk with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring).
When Brook Lynn told her grandmother about her dilemma, Tracy immediately advised her against going to the police.
BLQ has a lot on her plate, and a charge of drinking and driving could not only ruin her chances of remaining as Baby Pheobe’s foster mother but also blow any hopes of adoption in the future.
Tracy reminded Brook Lynn that she could refrain from telling the police about her wine consumption; however, Lucy would be the one to tell PCPD the truth.
BLQ adhered to her grandmother’s plan, but the paint evidence found on the guardrail near the accident could change the game.
Whether Brook Lynn was the driver who swerved from Jordan and Curtis’s car remains to be seen, but there’s a good chance that the paint left on the guardrail is hers.
As such, the police will eventually end up at the Quartermaines’ for further investigation. C
urtis may feel as if Isaiah Gannon (Swandi Wilson) is the culprit, but he’s likely not.
Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) recently asked about where BLQ’s car was, and Tracy piped up and lied, saying that it was getting detailed, along with hers.
In reality, the remnants of Brook Lynn’s side collision were being fixed, but could this be a clue to where this storyline is heading?
If the paint from the lab can be traced back to Brook Lynn, will Tracy step up to the plate and state that she was the one who took the car out that night? Will she take the blame?
How much of a sentence could Tracy get for this? After all, it’s been pointed out multiple times that it was Jordan’s fault, and the true crime that occurred was not stopping for help.
With that said, as BLQ had consumed wine, and is a foster parent hoping to adopt soon, her circumstances are very different.
General Hospital spoilers imply that, as Tracy didn’t step forward sooner, the repercussions to not being a good Samaritan could be a lot bigger than anticipated (this is the land of soaps, after all) – so she might be in a bigger (and far scarier) situation than she anticipated.
