General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that the show will continue to unravel the mystery of Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) and any connections he might have to Port Charles.
Tristan has been sharing plenty of scenes with Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) and may be more linked to her than either one of them realizes!
In the September 28 episode, Anna shared some sweet moments with Tristan and admitted he reminded her of another great listener on the other side of the world.
It’s easy to see why Anna is noticing some similarities between Tristan and Robert Scorpio (Tristan Rogers) since that’s probably by design.
Since Tristan’s character name is supposed to be a tribute to Tristan Rogers, it’s reasonable to assume the show wanted Tristan and Robert to have a lot of the same qualities.
However, Tristan could also be another sort of tribute if he’s a way for the character of Robert to live on following Rogers’ death.
What if Tristan is the long-lost son of Robert and Anna?
There’s some wiggle room in Anna’s history due to a lengthy period of time when she was presumed dead following an explosion and suffered from amnesia.
We all know the show tends to retcon whatever they want anyway, so the writers could indeed make Anna and Robert biological parents to Tristan.
Robert already found out he had a long-lost child when the truth about Sasha Gilmore Corbin’s (Sofia Mattsson) parentage came to light.
Now Tristan may be the latest character to end up with a Robert bio dad reveal.
Of course, Rogers has already passed away, so the show’s no doubt gearing up for a dramatic demise for Robert, too.
Tristan will never have a chance to know Robert if that’s indeed his biological father, but Anna can certainly tell Tristan all about him.
As for Anna, GH fans were furious when the show tried to give her a long-lost child with Cesar Faison (Anders Hove).
The Peter August (Wes Ramsey) fiasco was so disastrous that the writers had to undo it and make him Anna’s nephew by Alex Marick (Finola Hughes) instead.
However, viewers might be a little more receptive to Anna having a good son with Robert.
Just imagine the drama of that mother-son revelation if Tristan starts dating Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) as expected!
