General Hospital (GH) spoilers hint that Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) and Carly Spencer (Laura Wright) have some major angst ahead of them.
GH writers have introduced a major hurdle to Carly and Valentin continuing their romance, so let’s talk about their next obstacle.
Of course, things have always been complicated since Valentin is a fugitive who’s hiding under Carly’s roof.
It’s not like Carly and Valentin can stroll around Port Charles as a real couple right now.
Even so, Valentin and Carly have certainly been enjoying themselves behind closed doors.
Carly and Valentin have started falling hard for each other, so that’s going to make what comes next incredibly difficult.
During Valentin and Carly’s visit to Turning Woods, Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) pushed Valentin to get in touch with someone named “Z.”
Brennan wants Valentin to tell “Z” everything that’s happened, but Valentin knows that could lead to his arrest and land him right back in Steinmauer.
That’s why Valentin acted like it wasn’t a viable option before stomping off.
Carly, on the other hand, seemed more willing to consider the plan since she’s desperate to locate Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy).
Brennan tasked Carly with convincing Valentin that his strategy was the right one, so this could lead to Valentin and Carly clashing.
If Carly gives Valentin a nudge to reach out to “Z” and do what Brennan suggested, he may rant about her siding with Jack.
Valentin doesn’t want to go back to prison and may wonder if that’s what Carly truly wants for him.
However, Valentin might see things Carly’s way eventually and admit he understands why she’s willing to try anything to locate Josslyn.
Valentin would do whatever he had to do if he was in the same position with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke).
In the end, Valentin might be willing to sacrifice his freedom for Carly and her daughter.
Valentin’s feelings for Carly might win out and leave him ready to contact “Z” if it means a chance to help Josslyn.
Valentin might risk a Steinmauer return, but the plan could come with plenty of stunning news.
Even if “Z” gets brought into this, that doesn’t necessarily mean that Valentin will land back behind bars like he expects.
