General Hospital (GH) spoilers update for Thursday, April 23, indicate that Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) will meet up with Ethan Lovett (Nathan Dean), but she’ll have a hunch that he’s up to something.
Nina Reeves (Cynthia Watros) will try to dash Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) hopes while Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) grills Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi).
For starters, Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) will seek out Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) and push for answers about Ethan’s past.
Since Ric doesn’t have a good feeling about Sonny hiring Ethan, he’ll want Alexis’ opinion on the situation and Ethan himself.
Since Ric has concerns about Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) potentially still being a dangerous criminal, he might let something slip to her former attorney about that, too.
Regardless, Willow will take matters into her own hands when it comes to Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) on Thursday’s show.
Brennan will hear Willow’s pitch about a mutually beneficial deal, but Drew will have his own plan in motion at home.
GH’s weekly preview video shows Nina telling Drew to blink all he wants and warning that no one is going to save him.
The question is: Will that scene happen before or after Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) visit to Drew?
Drew might get a chance to prove Nina wrong if he blinks to Liz in the aftermath.
Then again, it’s possible Drew blinking to Elizabeth will be what causes Nina to intervene and shut this down.
Either way, Elizabeth will talk to Drew on Thursday’s episode and suspect he needs help.
Will Liz mull over Drew’s blinking message after the visit ends and wonder if there’s more to the story?
Elsewhere, Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) will make his position crystal clear during a conversation with Ava Jerome (Maura West).
Once someone gets on Sidwell’s bad side, he’s not someone who’s willing to forgive that.
During Tracy and Ethan’s reunion, they’ll catch up on each other’s lives.
Tracy surely isn’t going to approve of Ethan working for Sonny, but she’ll admit he’s like Luke Spencer (Anthony Geary) and perhaps compare their stubbornness.
Although Ethan will suggest his Port Charles return is about reconnecting with family and friends, Tracy will suspect there’s another secret involved.
Ethan will keep things vague and act like it’s better that way!
As for Sonny, he’ll push Kristina for the truth about her feelings now that Ethan is back in town.
Kristina might admit she’s missed Ethan, but she may be adamant that she’s not going down a romantic road with him.
In New York City, Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) and Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) will hit the streets for some sightseeing and photos.
General Hospital spoilers say Gio and Emma will have a blast ahead of the Broadway show they’re planning to attend, so stay tuned.
