General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, April 9, indicates that Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) didn’t give the whole story while Jason Morgan’s (Steve Burton) location was revealed elsewhere.
Jordan Ashford (Tanisha Harper) also needed to be operated on right away, so here’s how Thursday’s episode played out.
At Charlie’s Pub, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) got a call from Curtis, who said he was at the hospital with Jordan following a car accident.
Although Curtia assured Trina that he was OK, he admitted Jordan was badly hurt.
Trina rushed over to GH with Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and mentioned the accident to Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) on their way out.
Michael wanted to go check on Curtis, so he left Jacinda Bracken (Paige Herschell) and Kristina Corinthos-Davis (Kate Mansi) to bond alone.
At the hospital, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) approached Curtis, who was a nervous wreck while the doctors worked on Jordan.
Chase wanted to get Curtis’ statement about the accident while it was still fresh, so Curtis explained what went down.
Curtis mentioned that Jordan took her eyes off the road for just a moment before she was startled by the horn and headlights of another vehicle.
Once Curtis woke up in the wreckage, he struggled to free Jordan from the car.
Chase asked how Curtis finally got Jordan out, so he flashed back to Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) showing up to help him.
However, Curtis just claimed that he used a crowbar from the trunk and left Valentin out of the story.
Since Jordan had internal bleeding near her one kidney, she had to be rushed to surgery.
Curtis took unconscious Jordan’s hand and shared a sweet moment with her before she was wheeled away.
Trina convinced Curtis to get examined since he couldn’t do anything while Jordan was in the operating room.
Chase revisited his conversation with Curtis and wondered about the other vehicle involved in the accident, but Curtis didn’t have any details about the car.
That said, Curtis did point out that the person behind the wheel kept driving and left them for dead.
At the Quartermaine mansion, Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) quizzed Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) since she heard BLQ rushed off in such a hurry earlier.
Brook Lynn explained that Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had called her about Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri’s (Giovanni Mazza) performance at Charlie’s Pub, but she didn’t make it time to watch.
Fortunately, Brook Lynn had a video of that performance and showed it to Tracy.
BLQ also got to see another impromptu performance live and marveled over how far she’d come in her relationship with Gio.
At one point, Tracy spoke with Brook Lynn about Lucy Coe’s (Lynn Herring) visit and noticed their wine glasses along with the bottle from earlier.
Although Tracy grumbled about no one telling her about Gio’s performance, she admitted she probably wouldn’t have made it anyway.
Tracy said traffic was backed up due to a car accident on Route 91, which left Brook Lynn looking uneasy.
At the cabin, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) was waiting up for Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) when he returned.
Since Isaiah was gone for so long, Portia admitted she checked with the hospital and learned they hadn’t seen him.
Isaiah confessed that he’d been dealing with a private patient before Trina called Portia about the car accident.
Portia found out Jordan was hurt and relayed that news to Isaiah, who thought they should head to GH.
Portia suggested she only planned to go if Trina needed her, but she was willing to go with Isaiah if he wanted to be there for Jordan.
Isaiah didn’t want to irritate Curtis and decided Portia was right about remaining at the cabin.
Since Isaiah was on the road at the time of the accident, Portia pointed out that it just as easily could’ve been him who crashed.
Portia was relieved Isaiah made it back safely, but Isaiah seemed on edge.
At Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) house, she feared Curtis would expose the fact that Valentin was in Port Charles.
Valentin felt that Curtis owed him for helping save Jordan and that he wouldn’t say anything.
Carly assured Valentin that the situation with Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) and Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) was handled since the car repairs were being dealt with discreetly.
Danny and Charlotte didn’t have a clue about the other car accident according to Carly, but Valentin wanted to talk to Charlotte himself because he taught her out to be a very skillful liar.
Valentin suggested he raised Charlotte to figure out what someone wanted to hear and give it to them.
Carly wondered if Valentin had been lying to her all this time too, but he assured her that wasn’t the case.
To prove it, Valentin insisted that it’d be easier to lie and claim he was fine with Carly continuing her involvement with Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna).
Nevertheless, Valentin had changed his mind about Carly being so close to Brennan and now thought she should split up from him.
Brennan eventually showed up at the door, so Valentin hid outside while Carly let Jack in.
Brennan brought information on Jason, who was being held at a black site in Jakarta that was similar to Steinmeuer.
Carly wanted to see Jason or at least talk to him over the phone, but Brennan insisted that wasn’t possible.
Jack had already risked getting locked up along with Jason by even getting this intel.
Brennan poured his heart out to Carly and wanted a future with her, but he needed to know she felt the same way.
Carly was still upset over the WSB hurting someone she loved, but she needed Brennan since there were things only he could give her.
Carly pulled Brennan into a kiss as a fuming Valentin watched through the window.
Once Carly headed up to her bedroom with Brennan, Valentin came back inside and wrestled with what was happening as he poured himself a drink
Valentin eventually pulled his hoodie up and left in a huff while Carly imagined Valentin instead of Brennan in her bed.
General Hospital spoilers say Carly and Valentin’s romance will remain messy, so stick with the ABC soap.
