General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, August 20, reveals that Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) divulged some stunning news about Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiehaud).
Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) made a significant choice as well, so here’s how Thursday’s episode played out.
Outside the Quartermaine boathouse, Josslyn found Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) with Britt and flew into a rage over Britt’s past actions.
Josslyn told Jason that Britt outed her WSB status to Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey), put her life in danger and led to her imprisonment under Wyndemere.
Josslyn also pointed out that Britt knew Cassius was impersonating Nathan West (Ryan Paevey) all along.
After Josslyn warned Jason that Britt would eventually sell him out too, she took off.
Jason gave Britt a chance to explain her side of the story and sought assurance that this was the last secret between them.
Britt insisted that was the case and was relieved over Jason believing in her.
Jason seemed satisfied now that they were done with lies and shared a hug with grateful Britt.
After Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) interrupted Valentin Cassadine’s (James Patrick Stuart) evening with Carly Spencer (Laura Wright), she ranted about Valentin letting Charlotte Cassadine (Bluesy Burke) go out in the speedboat with Danny Morgan (Asher Antonyzyn) in the dark.
Carly pushed Lulu to get a life of her own and stop focusing so much on Charlotte.
Valentin asked if Lulu was dating again and suggested she at least needed a hobby to fill her time.
Once Lulu stomped off, Valentin continued his romantic evening with Carly.
After Valentin started talking about what would happen six years from now when Charlotte was Josslyn’s age, Carly was touched over him hoping they’d still be together.
At Elizabeth Baldwin’s (Rebecca Herbst) house, she explained the sofa situation that Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst) got the wrong idea about since Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) had an injured knee.
Ric remained irritated and took off, so Elizabeth shared pizza with Dante and voiced concerns about Ric’s insecurities.
Next, Ric summoned Lulu to the Metro Court pool, where he suggested they’d lose the loves of their lives if they didn’t break Liz and Dante’s growing connection.
Lulu found out what happened and thought Ric was overreacting, so she advised him not to push Elizabeth away with his behavior.
Ric remained worried that Elizabeth would realize she wanted Dante instead and leave him.
Nearby, Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) bought Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) a drink and formally introduced himself.
Anna’s reputation as a former agent preceded her, so Tristan admitted he used to be WSB field operative and then became a WSB physician.
Now Tristan insisted he was out of the WSB and that he was now focusing on his work at GH.
Josslyn showed up soon after, so Anna introduced her to Tristan and mentioned them having the WSB in common.
Tristan recalled hearing about Josslyn’s heroics on Spoon Island before his WSB departure and knew she was a rising star within the bureau.
Following an AA meeting at GH, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) gave Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) some advice ahead of his time in prison.
Curtis accepted Alexis’ guidance on how to handle his sobriety and vowed to be a model prisoner so he could get paroled in two years for a family reunion.
Once Isaiah took Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) to the cabin for a romantic getaway, he offered to drop the civil suit against Curtis and felt that it’d be a way for everyone to start moving forward.
Since Portia’s last hospital checkup indicated she was fully recovered, she reconnected in bed with Isaiah and savored some happiness with him.
General Hospital spoilers say Portia and Isaiah will inevitably have more storms to weather, so stay tuned to see what’s next for them as a couple.
