General Hospital Thursday, August 27 Recap: Willow’s Exposure Nightmare

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, August 27, reveals that Willow Cain’s (Katelyn MacMullen) mess got even worse.

Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) also jumped into protective mode, so here’s how Thursday’s GH episode played out.

In Willow’s office, Alexis Davis (Nancy Lee Grahn) warned against going after Kai Taylor (Jens Austin Astrup) and Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) since she’d go public with the Drew shooter truth if anything happened to them.

Alexis made it clear that she had the power to ensure Willow lost her kids along with her political career.

Despite Willow’s attempts to make Alexis understand her perspective, Alexis had no compassion for the “monster.”

At Trina’s apartment, she was alarmed when Kai came clean about Willow threatening him.

However, Kai reassured Trina that Alexis had their backs before they discussed plans for the future.

After ADA Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) told Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) about Donna Corinthos’ (Scarlett Spears) invitation to Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) barbeque, she headed over there with cupcakes.

That left Molly alone when Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) stopped by to speak with her about the unidentified driver who fled the scene of Jordan Ashford’s (Tanisha Harper) crash.

Molly didn’t think Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) was the culprit.

Chase also didn’t believe it was Willow and flashed back to Brook Lynn Quartermaine’s (Amanda Setton) private confession about framing her.

Molly acted like they may never have answers about the other driver and advised Chase to drop this despite his desire to get closure for the Ashford family.

At Sonny’s place, Ava Jerome (Maura West) clashed with him over co-parenting Avery Corinthos (Ava and Grace Scarola) before he hurried her out the door.

Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) showed up with Rocco Falconeri (Finn Carr), who made an excuse to leave and wound up secretly hanging out with Scout Quartermaine (Kayden Brenna Tokarkski) by the Quartermaine boathouse.

Back at Sonny’s place, Brook Lynn got a sleeping Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) settled in the guest room.

Gio and Emma Scorpio-Drake (Braedyn Bruner) were having a private make-out session in Sonny’s office area when a fight broke out between Brook Lynn and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson).

Michael and Brook Lynn bickered over Willow living at the gatehouse, but Michael implied this was really about Brook Lynn not trusting Chase.

Gio confronted Michael about making trouble for Brook Lynn before Michael sauntered off.

Brook Lynn assured Gio and Emma that her marriage was on solid ground despite how things sounded.

As for Ric Lansing (Rick Hearst), he arrived with Elizabeth Baldwin (Rebecca Herbst) and was forced to watch her share multiple close moments with Dante.

That included a moment when Liz was wiping ketchup off Dante’s face, but Ric pretended it didn’t bother him.

It left Elizabeth taken aback and grateful to see Ric was handling his emotions well.

At one point, Ric also spoke to Sonny about deciding not to propose to Liz yet.

Justine eventually showed up thinking only Sonny and Donna would be there, so she was surprised to find a full house.

Although Justine tried to drop off the cupcakes and leave, she ended up sticking around for games since that’s what Donna wanted.

At the Metro Court Gardens, Ava vented to Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) about her latest showdown with Sonny.

Drew remained committed to Sonny’s takedown, but he hinted about an obstacle that needed to be removed first.

After Drew said Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) had something that belonged to him, he planned to search Jack’s hotel suite while Ava kept him busy over drinks.

Drew urged Ava to claim she saw something concerning during her time with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) that she wanted to discuss with Brennan.

Ava was uneasy about deceiving the WSB, but Drew insisted this was a personal matter that wouldn’t come back to bite her.

In the end, Ava relented on helping Drew keep Brennan out of the way.

General Hospital spoilers say Drew’s hotel room hunt will lead to some surprising news, so don’t miss all the action.
