General Hospital Thursday, July 30 Recap: Peter Says Britt Must Die, Serena’s Trust Fund Gone, Hudson Spooks Ethan

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, July 30, reveals that “Peter August” (Wes Ramsey) was adamant about a deadly shocker while Serena Baldwin (Kelly Kruger) made a confession.

Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) also made his debut and left Ethan Lovett (Christian Howard) shaking in his boots, so here’s how all Thursday’s drama played out.

At Anna Devane’s (Finola Hughes) place, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) reconnected with her, so they were both glad to be free following traumatic ordeals.

Jason put the blame on Ross Cullum (Andrew Hawkes) for all the Cesar Faison (Anders Hove) torment that Anna endured, but she thought he must’ve had help from Cassius Faison (Ryan Paevey) and Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud).

Jason couldn’t say for sure about Cassius, but he rushed to Britt’s defense since she was forced into the project.

After Jason left, “Peter” worked to convince Anna that Jason was lying about Britt.

“Peter” thought Anna knew that Britt had to die if she wanted to keep her family safe, so he pushed Anna to wipe her off the map.

At the Metro Court Gardens, Serena returned to Port Charles and caught up with Lucy Coe (Lynn Herring) as well as Felicia Scorpio (Kristina Wagner) before Lucy scored some time alone with her daughter.

Serena confessed to blowing her trust fund and wondered why Lucy really wanted her back in PC.

Lucy sought Serena’s help regaining control of Deception from the Quartermaines now that shakeups were happening at the company.

After Ethan convinced Ava Jerome (Maura West) that their connection was worth exploring, Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) interrupted them at the Metro Court pool.

At a nearby table, Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) filled Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) in on Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) recovering and Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) divorcing him.

Michael expressed concern over Willow pursuing Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) now that she was single, but Brook Lynn made it clear that she wouldn’t allow it.

Besides, Chase had already assured Brook Lynn that she was his focus now along with Phoebe (Luna and Lucia Creighton).

That was the stance that Chase reiterated when Brook Lynn shocked him with the news about Drew’s recovery and Willow’s divorce plans.

Ethan came over to hold Phoebe briefly and gushed over how she fit as a family with Chase and Brook Lynn.

Since Brook Lynn and Chase were signing the adoption papers the following day, Ethan wished them luck.

Soon after, Ethan caught a glimpse of Hudson (Troy Lennon Appel) in chatting with a pool attendant and looked visibly shaken over this apparent face from his past.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Stella Henry (Vernee Watson) caught up with Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot) and feared it was a bad idea for Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) to reject the plea deal he was being offered.

Marshall Ashford (Robert Gossett) also showed up for some family bonding time with Curtis, Trina and Desmond Ashford (Yirah Aviah Lafond).at Portia Robinson’s (Brook Kerr) place.

That gave Marshall a chance to speak with Curtis privately and nudge him toward the plea deal as well, but Curtis was adamant about fighting the charges in court.

Back at the Quartermaine estate, Michael told Tracy about Willow divorcing Drew and worried that could spell trouble for Brook Lynn’s marriage.

Tracy felt better about Chase’s commitment to Brook Lynn and Phoebe these days, but Michael argued that Willow always wanted a man in her life and would still go after Chase.

At GH, Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson) vented to Britt about Curtis and wanted to take him down in court.

Britt was exasperated with all the WSB harassment when Jack Brennan (Chris McKenna) showed up, but he admitted he wasn’t there for her.

Afterward, Brennan spoke with Tristan Roberts (Dean Geyer) in an exam room to see how he was settling into Port Charles.

Tristan lashed out since he didn’t want the WSB showing up there and argued that he’d report back when there was something to report.

Brennan agreed to pass along the message, but he pointed out that Tristan didn’t get to set the terms here.

Tristan wound up putting his differences with Britt aside so they could collaborate on a patient.

Jason looked curious when he showed up and saw Britt with the doctor who accompanied him on his flight back to Port Charles.

General Hospital spoilers say Jason will put Britt through an interrogation soon, so stick with the ABC soap.
