General Hospital Thursday, May 28 Recap: Michael Discovers Brook Lynn’s Cover-Up – Chase Finds Tearful Willow

General Hospital (GH) recap for Thursday, May 28, reveals that Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) seemingly had a major realization about Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) while Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) discovered Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) was having a rough day.

Here’s how Thursday’s GH episode played out.

At Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) place, Suzanne (Jen Ray) used the key that Alexis gave her to get inside.

That led to Suzanne walking in on Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) and Cody Bell (Josh Kelly) stripped down in the living room since they were about to get passionate.

It was awkward all around, but Suzanne eventually realized Cody must be the inspiration for Casey, the love interest in Molly’s new book.

Molly assumed everyone else would figure that out once Cody came on tour with her, but he was cool with it.

At Bobbie’s, Giovanni “Gio” Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) supported Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali) as she opened up about the messy situation regarding Curtis Ashford (Donnell Turner) and Isaiah Gannon (Sawandi Wilson.

Gio also persuaded Trina to move forward with the showcase despite her family’s latest drama.

At the Quartermaine mansion, Chase moved Brook Lynn’s car and wondered why she didn’t tell him that something was wrong with it.

It turns out the passenger door was rattling, so Tracy offered reassurance about taking care of it and sent Chase on his way.

Next, Portia Robinson (Brook Kerr) stopped by to plead for Quartermaine money since Derrick needed to be transported to Chicago for his surgery and the family’s insurance was maxed out.

Brook Lynn immediately offered to write a check after she found out Isaiah’s hand got smashed because of his fight with Curtis.

Tracy insisted it would be taken care of and hustled Portia along.

Brook Lynn obviously felt guilty since the fight only happened because Curtis believed Isaiah was the other driver.

However, Tracy made it clear that Brook Lynn wasn’t to blame for Isaiah’s derailed surgical career or inability to perform Derrick’s surgery.

All Brook Lynn did was avoid a crash that night as far as Tracy was concerned.

Meanwhile, Curtis opened up to Michael about the charges he was facing and got Michael’s support.

Curtis was willing to take a plea deal as long as no jail time was involved.

With the birth of Portia’s baby imminent, Curtis wasn’t willing to miss that and vowed to fight this in court if he had to.

Curtis suggested that his lawyer could hopefully convince the jury that he was provoked.

There was also some talk about Curtis’ belief that Isaiah was the other driver based on the black BMW paint on the guardrail and the lack of confirmation on his whereabouts.

When Michael returned home, he overheard Tracy on the phone blasting the auto shop over the botched repair job.

Tracy mentioned something about it being six weeks ago, so Michael looked suspicious since Curtis had mentioned it being six weeks since the accident.

Later, Portia showed up in Curtis’ office to rip into him over the news about Isaiah possibly never being able to perform surgery again.

Portia wondered what Curtis would do when Isaiah was found innocent.

At home, Willow Cain (Katelyn MacMullen) told Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) that she was working on a plan to free them both, but her meeting with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) didn’t go as well as she hoped.

Sidwell visited Willow’s house and once again turned down her request to stop dosing Drew.

Willow insisted they needed leverage to keep Drew quiet, but Sidwell suggested dead Drew’s silence would be guaranteed.

Willow didn’t want that, so Sidwell insisted she would continue dosing Drew and would take care of Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) doses at Turning Woods as well.

At one point, Sidwell took a call privately and ranted at the person on the other end of the line.

Britt’s car had been found, but Sidwell wanted Britt herself located and brought back to Port Charles immediately.

As for Willow, she got Sidwell’s praise for her WSB funding efforts before he took off.

When Chase stopped by with a stuffed animal Amelia Corinthos (Sequoia and Serenity Mork Macko) left at the Quartermaine mansion, he could see that Willow was upset.

Willow eventually broke down in tears and admitted that she didn’t want to be married to Drew anymore.

General Hospital spoilers say Willow will lean on Chase during this moment of sorrow, so stay tuned to see how much she’ll spill.
